Of course , Nada loves them all because she teaches the principle and practice of the sacred labor as the effective means to achieve the goal of the ascension.  Fittingly, the mottos of her disciples are “I serve, the servant is not greater than his Lord, and I am my brother’s keeper.”  Nada tells us of the initiations and joy of selfless service:

“Understand this formula of selflessness:  To know when you have become selfless is to not be aware of the choice of selflessness.  By this I mean that the natural course of your life is always the preferring of the love of God, the service of that God incarnate.  To be aware of self, its pleasures, its privileges, its preferences, and then to make a choice to forgo that self is a step taken on the path of selflessness which must indeed be taken… But once you have reached that center, you are no longer aware of choosing between the Self–the Real Self–and the not-self.  For you have become that living Self and you identify with all preferences to be that Self, to be immersed in that Self, to be the hands, the heart, the head of the Lord where you are needed, wherever it is required, filing in for God, supplying every need and therefore supplying each aspect of the Christ which someone may lack fulfillment in for the mastery of the threefold flame. Your preference is then in supplying the tenderness and compassion, perceiving the need because your sensitivity to God has been refined not only by the All-Seeing Eye, but by the exercise of the secret rays, letting those rays flow through you and fearing not the pain of the crucifixion, but altogether transforming that pain into the bliss of communion.”

The gifts of the Holy Spirit which Nada administers are those of diverse kinds of tongues and the interpretation of tongues. These gifts involve the mastery of nuances of vibration in the five secret rays, and their almost infinite combinations with the elements of the seven rays as the qualities of the Word are released through the petal of the chakras.

As pertains to human, divine, and angelic tongues, these gifts involve the mastery of speech, communication and the delivery of the Word.  They range from the mastery of earth’s languages for the transmission of the Word universally to all to proficiency in the tongues of angels as spoken by angelic messengers through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Such releases given from an enraptured, exalted, or altered state are dictations (sometimes ex cathedra) for the initiation of souls and transfer of the sacred fires from the altars of heaven.  These fires, grounded through the anointed, are surely for the blessings of the saints who labor in Love under the weight of planetary karma they bear, or for the binding, surely, of the embodied seed of fallen angels whose hour for the final judgement has come.

The gift of tongues also facilitate understanding between peoples and figure in the art of diplomacy and just plain getting along with your neighbor–the soft answer that turneth away wrath, the bridling of the tongue that James admonished–comforting a child or the wounded soul. This is the science of the Spoken Word.

The Secret to Transforming Our Lives

23 Aug

Ascended Masters

The ascended masters teach that there is no greater power than the spoken Word to effect permanent change.  Some contemporary students of the masters have used the spoken Word for more than thirty years to bring about profound change in their lives.  Spiritual people from ancient traditions around the world have been using it for centuries

Hindu, Buddhist and Jewish mystics believe that the Word is the source of all the exists.  Indeed, several religious texts say that is created the world.  If we believe the mystics, the Word is the most powerful generative force in the universe.  If the Word can fashion worlds, just imagine what it can do for us!

Understanding the power of sound and its effect upon material and spiritual creation is good motivation to try for yourself.  For example, you can use the name of God “I AM” to effect positive change in your world.  However, if the concept of the spoken Word is new to you or feels strange in the beginning, just remember the old adage “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.”

The Word–the Power of Creation

Why is the Word so powerful?  The Bible and the ancient Hindu Vedas say that the Word is God, or Brahman.  In the Vedas, we read, “In the beginning was Brahman with whom was the Word, and the Word is Brahman.”  Likewise, the apostle John wrote, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”  And Genesis says that when God spoke the words “Let there be light,”  the process of creation began.  The Word that was spoken was not just any word.  It was the Word of God–a frequency released as the sacred word AUM at the origin of creation.

In the Eastern Indian view of the cosmos the whole universe is an ocean of sound and light of varying degrees of density or luminosity.  In this belief system, sound precedes light.  This worldview may explain why God had to “speak” in order for the light to come into being.  The mystics of East and West understood how to harness the power of the Word.  They have connected with that force of creation by repeating spoken mantras and the names of God.  The ascended masters have expanded upon this ancient practice by teaching their students a powerful form of spoken prayer called the Science of the Spoken Word.  Today disciples use the Word in affirmations, prayers, mantras and decrees–a form of rhythmic spoken prayer–to draw the essence of divine light from the I AM Presence and cosmic beings into the planes of matter to bring transformation and constructive change.

You must recognize that you and God, as one, are the majority for the

entire planet.  You in God can change the earth!  And when we multiply our-

selves many times over through the Science of the Spoken Word…the union of

our souls with our I AM Presence–and our oneness with the Great White

Brotherhood through our I AM Presence–gives us a power untold…

-Elizabeth Clare Prophet

Using the Science of the Spoken Word gives us a way to easily contact the ascended masters, the angels and our own Higher Selves.  Once we have made that contact, we can draw on the power of Spirit to bring about the opportunities needed to fulfill our life plans, to help others and to change the world.  Understanding that sound has power to change matter helps explain why spoken prayer is much effective than silent prayer.

Sound Affects Matter

Ancient Eastern sages taught that matter is actually the interplay of waves of sound.  Hans Jenny, a Swiss doctor and scientist, demonstrated through practical experiments just how sound shapes matter.  In these experiments, he used an oscillator to vibrate materials on various membranes and then photographed the results.  Using a variety of frequencies, pitches and volumes, Jenny showed how sound can create intricate geometrical patterns and forms, many of which have an astonishing resemblance to patterns found in nature.

Sound is actively used today to transform matter.  Modern medical technology employs sound to clean wounds and pulverize kidney stones.  Alternative medical practitioners use tonal frequencies to help heal organs.  Sound is even being investigated as an energy source to replace traditional methods of power generation. It is time that we begin to tap the creative power of sound in our personal lives!

Tapping Unlimited Power through Affirmations

Affirmations are the perfect place to start re-creating ourselves and the world around us by using sound and the Science of the Spoken Word.  Affirmations have been used in schools of positive thought for many years to help people relax, to do better in a job or a sport, or to just become happier.  They usually begin with the words “I AM,” followed by a desirable quality or action.  Some examples are : “I AM successful in my job!”  “I AM a loving person!”  “I AM overcoming all obstacles and limitations!”   “I AM absorbing new material quickly and easily!”

The power in affirmations lies within the “I AM” phrase, which is derived from the name of God “I AM THAT I AM.”  The masters shorten this name to “I AM” when giving affirmations.  In a spiritual sense, the words “I AM” mean “God in me is.”  So when we say the words “I AM” or “I AM THAT I AM,” we tap into the unlimited light-energy of divinity and it is instantaneously transmitted to us.  Constructive “I AM” affirmations can be used to strengthen the qualities of God within ourselves.  As noted in the Bible, Jesus Christ used affirmations with powerful positive associations such as:

  • As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world
  • I am the resurrection and the life.  He that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.
  • I am the way, the truth and the life.  No man cometh unto the Father but by me.

Jesus understood that it was God in him, the I AM Presence, that was fulfilling the Word that he spoke, not his human self.  In the same way, giving these or similar affirmations allow us to draw more of the eternal consciousness of the Divine in ourselves.  Repeating affirmations and using them consistently over a period of time accelerates the process as our subconscious begins to assimilate the concepts.  The positive thoughts then begin to work outward into our conscious awareness and we can see results.  By using affirmations, we can re-create our lives and bring ourselves into much closer attunement with God’s light and consciousness.  Here are some affirmations:

  • I AM light!
  • I AM light/energy/consciousness
  • I AM invincible and victorious!
  • I AM everywhere in the consciousness of God!
  • I AM the spirit of joy!
  • I AM love in action!

Meet Your Holy Christ Self–Your Dearest Friend, Guardian and Teacher

3 Jul

Jesus explained the mystery of the Christ at the Last Supper.  He took a single loaf –symbolizing the one Word, the one Christ–and broke it and said, “This is my body, which is broken for you.” He meant, “This is the body of the Universal Christ that is individualized for each one as the Christ Self.”  Though there is but one absolute God and one Universal Christ, the body of that Universal Christ can be broken and each piece will retain all qualities of the whole.

Jesus told the disciples to eat the bread.  In other words, they were meant to assimilate and become one with the Universal Christ.  Mark Prophet, the founder of The Summit Lighthouse, summed it up nicely in a lecture he gave in 1970.  He said: I see God as a great loaf; and I see the Christ, the Universal Christ, breaking the loaf.  And the crumbs I see as the individual monads, you and me.  We are all crumbs that have fallen from the Lord’s table.   We’re each a drop of water from the infinite ocean.  We all have the qualities of the whole ocean, of infinite reality, in ourselves but we lack the quantity.  And only through reunion with the ocean, when the shinning dewdrop slips into the sea, only when we merge with God and with our Real Self can we be all that we’re supposed to be. It is our sense of separation from God that keeps us from the reality of ourselves.

Christ self of chart

The first step you can take in the process of reuniting with your I AM Presence is to develop your relationship with your Christ Self–your inner teacher, guardian, and dearest friend.  He is also the voice of conscience that speaks within your heart, showing you what is right and wrong.  Emerson writes of an “unseen pilot” that is similar to the  Christ Self.  We cannot see this pilot, he says, because it is like someone walking directly behind us.  The Christ Self is the unseen hand that helps you to see where you may be blinded by your habit patterns, many of which are shaped by your past actions.  And he helps you decide the way that is the best for your soul.

Your Christ Self overshadows you wherever you are and wherever you go.  He allows you to be “Christ conscious” at all times or, to put it another way, to have the “Christ consciousness.”  When you have the Christ consciousness, you are never in doubt or afraid. You have supreme confidence in your ability to accomplish what you have set your mind to.  You receive inspiration and guidance.  One you walk under the direction of your Christ Self, you can then begin to become one with him, which will also bring you closer to oneness with your I AM Presence.  Emerson wrote that if someone obeys the unseen pilot, it will “adopt” him.  The person will then become one with the pilot.  When a person is united with the unseen pilot, he will receive “richer and greater wisdom” and lead a “heavenly life.”

As you become closer to your Christ Self, the “unseen pilot,” you’ll realize that your Christ Self is the real you.  You’ll find yourself spending more time as the real you, a part of God, and less time being cut off from God. Eventually you, like Jesus, will experience your ascension as you become one with your I AM Presence.  The ascension is completed when you are fused your I AM Presence.  Though the path to the ascension is a journey of many lifetimes, if you focus your attention on it, you can reach it at the end of your present life.  To prepare for the ascension, you need to practice becoming one with that Presence.

Head

I AM Light, thou Christ in me,

Set my mind forever free;

Violet Fire, forever shine

Deep within this mind of mine.

God who gives my daily bread,

With Violet Fire fill my head

Till thy radiance heavenlike

Makes my mind a mind of Light.
