Spiritual Life of The Unborn: Meditations and Gemstones

15 May

How can meditation build healthy babies?

Gemstones have a molecular structure that allows them to carry a certain charge and energy vibration that corresponds to particular qualities of God.  For example, rose quartz holds the vibration of love, and emeralds hold the vibration of healing. Amethyst is the transmitter of freedom and joy.

Through meditation upon gems we enter a very concentrated focus of God’s energy.    The gem becomes the transmitter, or the transformer, of that energy to each cell of the little child through the mother’s mind and attention. You can meditate on various gems for the crystallization of specific virtues you would like to see manifest in your child.

You can also include in your meditation book pictures of flowers, nature scenes, angels and nature spirits, classical art and illustrations of the Madonna and child.

How does meditation on beautiful classical music and art enhance the baby’s potential?

The years from conception through age seven are the most creative period of the child’s entire life. It is during this period that the intricate patterns of the soul and the four bodies of the child are established. To assist in the building of these intricate patterns, there is nothing that can replace meditation on the best classical music and art. The unborn baby is profoundly sensitive and can perceive the beauty, virtue and joy that the mother sees and feels as she meditates upon beautiful works of art by masters such as Michelangelo, Leonardo DA Vinci and Nicholas Roerich.

As the mother meditates, the baby also learns to meditate, filling his consciousness with light and beauty.   Therefore, keep perfect archetypes — perfect geometric forms, nature scenes, classical art — before the vision of the child.

You are teaching your baby to meditate from the hour of conception.

Transmitting the beauty of art to the unborn baby stimulates the baby’s soul to attune with her highest spiritual origins.

When the baby hears and feels divinely inspired music, his consciousness and the very atoms, cells and electrons of his four bodies will vibrate and coalesce around the patterns of this music.

Much of my pregnancy was spent with a choir recording an album of devotional songs to the Blessed Virgin. My daughter now sings like a bird! She even sings like a trained singer–her pitch is right on and she holds the vowels a long time before singing the end consonant. And she loves the songs on the album!

About a month before my daughter’s birth, my husband found a stack of books on the arts and ballet. One book from the 1940s particularly stood out. It had beautiful pictures of Russian ballerinas and I meditated on them. When my daughter was only one week old, I had a dream in which she was two or three years old. She said to me, “I’m a dancer, you know.” Now at six, she really is a dancer. Recently she composed and then performed a Buddhic dance. I feel her mission is in the creative arts.

Meditation upon the best classical music influences virtually every mental, emotional and physical process ~   and especially impacts the harmony of the emotional body. Music is also an expression of beauty, and beauty is a universal medicine. Health and beauty are intimately related.

You can meditate on perfect colors of the seven rays and the five secret rays, (starting with the colors of the threefold flame – pink, blue and yellow) on beautiful classical music, on lovely art – paintings and sculptures, on perfect geometric shapes that are in fact the building blocks of life.

Another meditation that can be used is to radiate light through your baby’s four lower bodies:  http://www.summitlighthouse.org/meditation/Radiating-the-Light-Through-Your-Fower-Lower-Bodies.html

As you meditate on these during pregnancy you are instilling these patterns into your child soul and four bodies.

Once your child is born, these focuses can be where she sees them every day.

Becoming the Buddha: Wesak A Celebration

24 Apr

Wesak is the celebration of Buddha’s birth & enlightenment, & in some traditions also his death. As the most important figure in Buddhism his life is celebrated and revered. Gathering to chant and pray are an important part of a traditional Wesak celebration.

It is said that Wesak is that time at the Full Moon of May in which the Christ gathers the entire Spiritual Hierarchy together in meditation to invoke the forces of Shamballa. The Buddha, representing those forces, appears and blesses humanity.

The ceremony of Wesak is held in the actual Wesak Valley in the Himalayas at the time of the full moon of May (which is actually the full moon of Scorpio). A vast crowd assembles in the valley, in front of the great rock table at the end of the valley. Alice A. Bailey describes this event in The Unfinished Autobiography. It is said that the Christ and the Buddha conduct the ceremony of Wesak from a rock table at the end of the valley described by Bailey as “…an immense rock, rising out of the floor of the valley like a great table.”

The second of the three major spiritual planetary festivals is The Wesak Festival, The Buddha’s Blessing, and is celebrated in the eastern hemisphere at the Taurus full moon. (The first, in April, is the Festival of the Christ and the third, in June, is the Festival of Humanity.) Wesak is the festival of The Buddha, divine intermediary between the highest spiritual center, Shamballa, and the Hierarchy.

The Buddha is the expression of the Wisdom of God, the embodiment of light and the indicator of divine purpose.

Wesak – the Sun in Taurus Full Moon, is the most powerful Full Moon of the year. The Sun’s transit through Taurus exalts the Moon and Taurus is ruled by Venus, the spiritual ruler of Earth. Venus is identified with Mary, the World Mother. May, the month of Taurus, is the month of Mary. Venus appears in the west as the feathered serpent god Quetzalcoatl who brought enlightenment to the Mayans; in the east she is Maya, mother of the Buddha.

The lunar cycle is a wave of creation that comes to fruition when the Moon is full. Each Full Moon brings revelation and possibility for healing body, mind, and soul. The Moon is the Mother whence comes reflected Light of the spiritual Sun to nurture, support, protect, and bring to flower the seeds of creation.

The Full Moon is like a pitcher pouring out a healing elixir. The celestial dispensation continues for three days following the day of the Full Moon. Calm and balance, deep breathing, meditation, yoga, rhythmic music and dancing help for receiving the blessings of heaven.

Locally the Full Moon has strong effect in the hour following Sunset when the Moon is rising and at local Midnight when the Moon is directly overhead. This Sun in Taurus Full Moon is called Wesak (WE-sock). Mystics say that the Buddha returns now to help regenerate the Earth.

According to metaphysical tradition, the Buddha was born, attained enlightenment, and left Earthly incarnation under the Full Moon of Taurus. And the Buddha returns at this time each year to bring new light to the world. Spiritual leaders gather in Wesak Valley, a mythic place high in the Himalayas. Here initiates led by the Christ arrange themselves into a great pentagram (the Venusian emblem of world soul) while the Buddha hovers over those gathered radiating light. This cosmic alignment occurs during the eight minutes centered on the moment of the Wesak full moon.

The annual cycle of the Spiritual Festivals offers opportunity for people of all faiths to cooperate. Together, the three full moon festivals of Aries, Taurus and Gemini form a united spiritual approach by humanity to divinity.

The day of the Festival is to be known as the “day of safeguarding” whilst the two succeeding days are called the “days of distribution.”

For two days prior to the full moon, we will hold the attitude of dedication and service and seek to assume that attitude of receptivity to that which our soul will impart which will make us of use to the Hierarchy. The Hierarchy works through groups of souls, and the potency of this group work is to be tested out. These groups in their turn contact and feed the waiting dedicated attentive personalities. On the day of the full moon, we attempt to hold ourselves steadily in the light. We will not formulate to ourselves what will happen nor will we look for results or for tangible effects.

On the two succeeding days, the focus of our attention will be steadily turned away from ourselves but also from the inner subjective planes to the outer world, and our efforts will be to pass on, or to pass through, that measure of spiritual energy that may have been contacted. Our work then in this particular and peculiar field of cooperation will then be ended.

This effort of the Hierarchy is a five days’ effort, preceded by a most intensive period of preparation. The work of getting ready for the opportunity starts for the Hierarchy exactly at the hour when “the sun began to move northward.” But they tire not as do human beings and it is not possible for the human aspirant to keep up so long a period of preparation, no matter how deep his devotion.

When the Great Lord was on Earth, He told His disciples that successful spiritual effort of a healing nature went not forth except by prayer and fasting. Will you ponder on these words? This is a group effort towards a vast group healing and by prayer (sanctified desire, illumined thought and intense aspirational longing) and by the discipline of the physical body for a short period and for a definite objective, the work can be done.

The Wesak Festival has been traditionally associated in eastern civilization with the Buddha, divine intermediary between the highest spiritual center on the planet, Shamballa, and the Hierarchy. The Buddha is the expression of the Wisdom of God, the embodiment of Light and the indicator of divine purpose, cooperating at this festival with his brother the Christ, who represents the Hierarchy. The Buddha embodies the Principle of Light, and because of this illumination humanity was able to recognize the Christ, embodiment of the still greater Principle of Love. Each year at the time of Wesak, two great streams of energy – one focused through the Buddha and the other through the Christ – are fused and blended, and it is the task of world servers to precipitate this combined energy into the waiting world.

In mutual service to humanity, the Buddha and the Christ bring about a linking that blends East and West, uniting the world’s major religions in a shared holy day in which religious distinctions disappear. In the beautiful water ceremony of communion is portrayed the symbol of the new age which is upon us, the Aquarian Age, the age of the Water Carrier.

formal_front_buddha

During the Wesak Festival the Buddha becomes the “absorbing Agent” of Will. He uses the magnetic power of Love-Wisdom to attract this force to Himself and hold it steady, prior to redirecting it. The Christ then – on behalf of the Hierarchy – becomes the “receiving Agent” of this potent energy and the groups of Masters Who work with the human and sub-human kingdoms (in response to His demand) become the “directing Agents” for the sevenfold expression of this force.

So at the time of the Wesak Festival, expansions of consciousness are made possible that are not possible at other times. Those of goodwill are stimulated spiritually to take initiation, in order to penetrate more deeply and consciously into the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. These reveal more about the wonder of our divinity, and about the Plan to which humanity is conforming.

As powerful spiritual beings, we create our own reality. It is essential that we as a race begin to govern ourselves solely from within, from our own personal connection with the Divine. It can take courage to follow your own moral heart but if we don’t, we run the risk of losing our souls for the sake of getting by. We allow dysfunction to surround us unchecked and to out-picture in our society like a bad dream. Just one heart, one mind standing clear and tall amidst chaos will cause chaos to order itself around it. We, as workers for spirit, must be that clear mind. We come together to reinforce one another’s choice to be free and to stand tall. As more and more of us learn to do that, society will change. The resulting groundswell of clarity and truth as everyday experiences will have to have an effect on ourselves, our societies and our governments all over the world.

Solutions to all of the world’s problems (which means all of yours as well) lie within you! Hidden in full view!

May I now make an inquiry? Of what importance is this full moon of May to you personally? Does it seem to you of sufficient importance to warrant your utmost effort? Do you really believe that on that day  May3, 2015, there can truly come a release of spiritual energy of sufficient potency to change world affairs, provided that humanity plays its part? Do you really believe, and can you stand practically to that belief, that the Buddha on that date, in cooperation with the Christ, and with the Hierarchy of Illumined Minds, plus the proffered aid of some of the Thrones, Principalities and Powers of Light, Who are the higher correspondence of the powers of darkness, stand waiting to carry out God’s Plans, when given the right and the permission of men? Your major job at this time is not to wrestle with the powers of evil and the forces of darkness, but to awaken an interest in and mobilize the forces of light in the world today. Resist not evil, but so organize and mobilize the good, and so strengthen the hands of the workers on the side of righteousness and love that evil will find less opportunity.

If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed in what I have told you, if you have staunch belief in the work of the spirit of God and in the divinity of humanity, then forget yourselves and consecrate your every effort, from the time you receive this communication, to the task of cooperation in the organized effort to change the current of world affairs by an increase in the spirit of love and goodwill in the world during the month of May.

The Spiritual Dimension of Love Relationships: Soul Mates and Twin Flames

20 Jan

twin_flames_wa

The exchange of sacred energies in sexual union is for the transfer of spheres of cosmic consciousness-our Casual Bodies of light. The light energy resulting from this fusion enhances the positive qualities of each of the partners and strengthens their own divine identity-enabling them to carry their shared burden of karma.  As the union is consecrated to the love of God, the harmonious blending of pure Father-Mother energies yields the Son, the Christ consciousness-whether it be in the form of a child an inspiration, a successful enterprise, or a work of art.

When this exchange is not spiritualized through a recognition that God is both the lover and the beloved, the two individuals may experience physical pleasure, but they also unknowingly take on each others karmic patterns without the benefit of a spiritually transmutative love.

chart of your divine self001

Here is a ritual you can use to consecrate your sacred union with your partner and to seal your interchanges in the purity of God’s love. You can also use this ritual to celebrate your oneness with your twin flame and with God.

Stan (alone or with your partner) and face the Chart of Your Divine Self as you make your inner attunement with the star of your divinity, your I AM Presence. Meditate upon the sacred flame that burns within your heart. Visualize the arc of your love ascending from your heart to the heart of your I AM Presence. Take your right hand and dip into the fires of your heart and draw the circle of oneness around yourselves (you and your partner, your twin flame or your I AM Presence) as you stand in adoration of the one. Visualize this circle , twelve feet in diameter, as a line of sacred fire that will repeal all the opposes your union.

See yourselves focusing the plus and the minus of cosmic energies, two halves of the whirling T’ai Chi. Consecrate your love to your soul’s reunion with the I AM Presence and to the ultimate reunion of you and your twin flame within the hallowed circle of God. As an additional protection of your oneness invoke the cherubim daily, for they are the guardians of love.

Meditation – Union with God

Meditation

Accelerating Your Spiritual Journey

The purpose of meditation is that God above may manifest in man below—as above, so below. This is the highest teaching which God can impart to man before opening the portal of reality and Self-awareness. Meditate in order that the beauty of the Divine may come into manifestation within you, that the Higher Image may surround you, and that you may literally become that image. It should be understood that at inner levels, according to the teachings of the Great White Brotherhood, a period of meditation is regarded as a journey into the temple. We call this temple the Temple Most Holy; and it is, in a very real sense, the laboratory of the Spirit. – Kuthumi

Archangel Uriel’s Meditative Exercise for Letting Go

Archangel Uriel’s Meditative Exercise for Letting Go

Sit with your legs uncrossed and your feet flat on the floor in front of you.

Focus your attention on your heart.

Place your hands one on top of the other over your heart and then release them.

Next put your hands on your knees, palms up.

Relax and breathe gently.

Say tenderly to your soul and body, “Peace, be still.”

Repeat it as many times as you like, in multiples of three, while visualizing yourself surrounded by the purple-gold-ruby light of the angels of peace.

Take a deep breath.

As you breathe out, release your worries and concerns into the light.

Watch as they dissolve on contact. Now inhale, seeing the light rush in to replace the burdens you have let go. Repeat three times.

Give the “Prayer of Saint Francis”

Prayer to Saint Francis

Lord,
Make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light; and
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much
Seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and
It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Close your meditation saying three times:

Archangel Uriel and angels of peace,
I accept the gift of peace
In my heart, in my soul, in my spirit, in my body, in my mind!
Make me an instrument of God’s peace!

Radiating the Light of Spirit Meditation

Meditation To Experience Your Oneness with Spirit
Radiating the Light of Spirit Through Your Four Lower Bodies

A meditation to help you draw down the light of Spirit, the energy of your I AM Presence, and to radiate it through your four lower bodies* to cleanse and purify them.

Meditating on the I AM Presence, the Real Self, the eternal presence of God in our life

1. Go within and draw your attention to your heart. Place your hand over your heart to help focus your awareness there.

2. Breathe deeply until you feel calm and centered.

3. With your eyes closed, chant the words I AM THAT I AM nine times.

4. Visualize and feel the Divine light of your I AM Presence descending over your crystal cord through your Christ Self into your heart. The Chart of Your Divine Self can help you to visualize this action

5. See and feel that light expanding outward from your heart and penetrating each of your four lower bodies, one at a time:

Physical Body: Let the light energy flow first into your physical body radiating into every muscle, organ, and cell. Visualize the light flooding and consuming any troublesome physical condition you may have producing perfect health and vitality.

Emotional Body: In your emotional body, let the light of your I AM Presence radiate into any negative feelings you may have. Let it dissolve all anger, frustration, anxiety, fear and grief. Feel it washing over you, eliminating all tension and establishing a profound peace.

Mental Body: As the light energy moves into your mental body, see it penetrate and consume any negative or disturbing thoughts. See these thoughts melting as the light of your Presence moves through them, producing a positive mental outlook.

Etheric Body: Now in the etheric body, try to recall a painful memory. Direct the light of your I AM Presence into this remembrance. See it dissolve every facet of the memory until it entirely disappears.
Conclude your meditation with the following I AM affirmations:

I AM the perfect wholeness and harmony of my four lower bodies now made manifest! (3 times)

I AM grateful for the gift of light in my world today! (3 times)

I AM light, light, light! (3 times)

* The four lower bodies: four energy fields, interpenetrating sheaths of consciousness, each vibrating in its own dimension. A flesh-and-blood body, your physical body. A mind that cogitates, your mental body. Emotions and feelings, which express through your astral, or desire, or emotional body. A memory that is housed in your etheric, or memory, body, the highest vibrating of the four. These four lower bodies surround the soul and are the vehicles of expression in the material world of form.
