See God in All

2 Apr

I will tell you something. The great Masters of wisdom, such as Morya and Saint Germain and the others, seldom—I say, seldom—appear to students of the light and hardly at all to the masses, because they are aware of the law of karma governing these appearances and most of the students are not.

If you gaze upon the face of any of your contemporaries and you do not see God there, you have desecrated their temple and your own. Did you ever stop to think about that?

If you do not see God in man and in yourself, you are desecrating the temple of the living God. And, as you go up the ladder of attainment, if you take the name of Jesus Christ in vain and you lightly turn against him or against Master Morya or Mother Mary or any of the great ones, named or unnamed, your karma becomes great.

This is the reason behind the Masters’ withdrawal from the appearance world. They withdraw solely because they do not wish to involve you in a karmic sequence, for they know that if you see one of them and reject them or refuse to do what they say, it becomes an even greater karma. Do you see the point?

So they withdraw from the earth, from the visible realm into the spiritual realm. “And a cloud received him out of their sight.” So it is with everyone who is raised from the dead. Do you see, then, what a great deal of depth there is in the teachings, in the banner of Maitreya, the banner of hope, in the banner of the ages?

When people come to hear the Great White Brotherhood’s teachings, they come to see a man. Yet there is far more than the mere man in the teachings; there is the making of the whole man that is you, every one of you. The greatest desecration in all of life is that we do not permit ourselves to properly esteem or love ourselves as the handiwork of God.

“Until Seventy Times Seven”

We are the handiwork of God. Because we dropped a few stitches here and there, the garment may appear to have nubs or holes or be imperfectly woven. This is not so, because in the crucible of experience, in the molding and making of a man, his experiences are practical ones. When they happen to us, we are able to understand what has happened to others. If they had never happened to us, we might not be able to understand another’s reaction.

I do not say that we should do evil that good may come. That is wrong. But in the course of our struggle toward the light, in trying to reach God, if we should make a few mistakes, we ought to allow it in ourselves and in others.

This question was raised, you know, when the Master Jesus was on earth. The apostles asked, because they had a sense of self-righteousness too, “How oft shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Seven times, Master?”

They thought that seven was the magic number. Jesus turned to them and said, “I say not unto thee until seven times, but until seventy times seven,” showing the infinity of forgiveness toward us and toward others.

The road to a certain place is no doubt paved with the best of intentions, so that we all from time to time may find ourselves in a lesser state than we would want. No matter how badly we want to attain the kingdom of God within us, it may not materialize just the way we wanted, and oh, we wanted it to be so perfect! It is so perfect, but somehow everyone else seems to realize a little bit more of it than we do.

You Need the Master

So we think in terms of meeting the master. That is, we equate meeting the master with overcoming all things. Well, you see, when you meet the master, you meet him because you need help. That’s the whole thing. A lot of people think that they’re going to meet the master because they’re so perfect, but you meet the master because you need the master.

This excerpt from the lecture, Meeting Your Inner Master, by Mark Prophet was given on December 31, 1971, at the Class of the Solar Light, held in Colorado Springs, Colorado and published in the 2000 Pearls of Wisdom Vol. 43 No. 28. thesummitlighthouse.org

How to Spot a False Teacher

20 Feb

Jesus foretold the coming of the false teachers in the ‘last days.’ He said they would be wolves in sheep’s clothing who would show great signs and great wonders to deceive the elect. These arch-deceivers are clever, charming, very convincing…and very deadly. Pure and simple, these false teachers are after your light and they will gladly derail you from the true path to get that light

The ascended masters want you to be able to declare your independence from the imposters masquerading as legitimate spiritual teachers. To this end, the masters have formulated a pathway that will lead you unerringly to your own God Consciousness.

However, you must be willing to embrace this path, and one of the obstacles we all encounter on the way is the darkness sown by fallen angels and all agents of evil, no matter what face they wear.

What we must overcome is our attachment to human consciousness, to the limitations of the human mind and to the seeming attraction of the world and all of its diversions.

But this path must be chosen, not coerced.

The ascended masters will never force their students to do anything. Students must be willing to exert themselves to show they have staying power, to lift the weight of darkness that it might become light.

This is the path of discerning the difference between the real Self and the not self…and, if you will but ask, the ascended masters stand ready to show you how to do it.

So how can you tell a false teacher from a true one? That is the subject of this series, and one of the first indications that you may be dealing with a false teacher is if you notice a lot of human ego and human will. There will be flattery, charisma, pride…anything and everything that might appeal to and gratify your human consciousness. A true teacher will seek to help you overcome the carnal mind, not embellish it. A true teacher will, like the true shepherd, lay down his life for his flock. The false teacher has no such desire.

“The false teachers of mankind have one motive:  the subjection of the soul and the energies of the four lower bodies unto their own egos, their own human will…The mystique of the false teacher is the claim of the preferred personality. It is because the human consciousness itself contains some of the elements of the false teacher that it finds itself being drawn in over and over again to the false teaching…In the words of the one who sought and found the inner Christed man of the heart, you will find the key to your own Christ-identity:  “If any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ or there, believe it not….Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert, go not forth; behold, he is in the secret chambers, believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east and shineth even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” (Matt. 24:23, 26-27.)”

The Christmas Rose A Calling to the Heart of God

27 Dec
The Christmas Rose – A Calling to the Heart of God.

I show you the midnight of my coming, and I show you the sky and worlds beyond, illumined by thousands upon thousands of stars and bodies. How you have wondered before this sight as a child! And with childlike wonder you still consider the heavens and all that they contain.

I say to you each one, be the Christmas star! Let your star shine as your Causal Body in heaven, as your great Dharmakaya. Let it shine! Let it draw nigh to you as you draw nigh to it! Practice the Presence of God by daily making your vessel the biding place of the I AM THAT I AM. Do this, beloved.

As you belong to God–and I have said ye are God’s–so you are also that God-manifestation. Let not time or space or self-condemnation or sense of worthlessness take from you the true joy of this day, [nor the joy] that because I have come in this two-thousand-year cycle and come again from ancient cycles, there is the reconnecting of your heart to the heart of the living Christ if you seek that path of initiation.

[This day,] there is the reigniting of the flame in those who seek the rekindling of the flame. [This day,] there is the present possibility of that return to the paradise lost, to the great golden age whence you have descended at great cost and loss to yourself.Celebrate, then, that God called me but celebrate also that he called you and that your star can rise. It can be a nova and through you the great Lord may contact many. Do not lose sight of this perspective; for if you do, beloved, if you lose the vision, you will forfeit so great an opportunity as has not come to you in many ten thousands of years.

I proclaim to you: It is the hour of the union of twin flames at inner levels, of the union of great spheres of Light for a cosmic purpose. As you are “alive” (as much as one is alive in this condition), “alive and well on planet earth,” you have the great, great opportunity of being the anchor point of your own Causal Body and that of your twin flame and, through the twain, to draw forth the Light of the ancient Gurus back to the Great Central Sun.

May you take the great teaching that has been given and rejoice that this is the day of the Christmas Rose for you and your Beloved. Wherever each one of you is on the Path, there is a fusion of Causal Bodies for the great, great purpose of the fulfillment of your mission. Remember this and be one-pointed.

I am Jesus, your brother, your friend, your teacher, avatar of the age, desiring so to strengthen you that you might be unto the many what I have been unto you. Keep on keeping on, beloved, for your track is direct to the star of great, great hope.

I seal you in this hour that you might rejoice yet more hours this day in what it really means to be the Christmas Rose.

Thanksgiving – Consider Aspects of Life

Thanksgiving – Consider Aspects of Life

Think, then, of all the things which you repeat each day–not as monotony or rote, but as the ritual of the sacred fire–the cleansing and the feeding of the body, the tending to the precious plants and to your children and to the elementals, opening of windows to let in fresh air, the flow of water, the use of fire, the cleaning of your homes, the going to and fro along the calling of your life. So many aspects of living are daily ritual because in each twenty-four-hour cycle, you must re-infuse life with life. You are instruments of the flow of God. You are initiators of cosmic consciousness on earth, as Maitreya has declared.

Therefore, let this Thanksgiving Day be your opportunity to consider the aspects of life which you may have neglected. And let your neglect be replaced with gratitude as the flow of the heart! As you release such joy in gratitude and joy of abundance, it is the flow of the nucleus of life which is magnetized. Therefore, be joyous, not solemn! Be enthusiastic, not bored! Be filled with truth–and lively truth that lives as an emerald fire burning and crackling in your all-seeing eye! Be this truth! Be not the calcification of error! Watch out for the error of habit and that habit which becomes rote–rote that replaces the ritual of the sacred fire each day!

Have mercy! Have compassion upon those parts of life
Who live not in the ritual of the flame,
But in the rote of mediocrity for selfish gain.
Have mercy upon them;
They know not what they do!
Teach them! They are in ignorance of the law
Of the many and the few.
They stand then, waiting to be filled,
But know not that that filling must be God-willed
As an exercise in free will,
As the coming of the Christed ones
With the pitcher from the well of life,
Pouring the energy of sacred fire, of Mother flow,
Into the Matter body here below.

Think, then, of others–
Others in the ways of the world,
Others in the way of freedom,
Others seeking to find that way to be free.
Have mercy on them!
Have compassion for them–
And tolerance and understanding!
For it was not so long ago
That you yourselves
Were the waifs of chastened ignorance,
That you were the ones
Not cleaned by the Mother,
Soiled in your garments
And spotted with the dust and the dirt of life.
Have compassion for them!
For I say to you,
They know not what they do;
They know not what they do.
Invoke life! Infuse them with the life!

You now are the few who must become the many through the multiplication of the loaves and the fishes of your consciousness. And therefore there is required an integrator, an initiator, a multiplier. I AM he! I AM the same, the Christed One, the Son of God! I do not fear to proclaim it! I do not fear to declare it! I must declare I AM the Son of God! Or who else will declare it for me? I ask you. Therefore, if it is necessary for me to proclaim my role, I say you must proclaim your role! Your thanksgiving must be an affirmation of your being! – Jesus the Christ

The Great Commandment

The Great Commandment, Part 1

The Great Commandment, Part 1

This is Part 1 of 5 of a sermon on Mark 12:28-34 by the Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet delivered on Palm Sunday, April 15, 1984, at Camelot. It is published in Pearls of Wisdom Vol. 27 No. 23 – May 28, 1984.

And one of the scribes came and, having heard them reasoning together and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord! And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength. This is the first commandment.

And the second is like, namely this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth, for there is one God and there is none other but he. And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself is more than all whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices.

And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

Mark 12:28-34

Love God with All Your Heart

It is a wonderful day to take up the teaching of the Great Commandment. We are poised with Jesus at an hour of great change in his life—a transition, an acceleration, the initiation of the resurrection and that new life of glory which he enters and therefore we enter with him.

We study his words given to John in his Revelation, given unto this hour through all of the saints and prophets. And we come to understand that there is an essence, a seed essence of teaching—and here it is in the Great Commandment.

We make it our own because we know it is our sure defense. And this defense is so necessary for the disciples who would go forth to heal in his name, to cast out devils, to bring mankind into alignment with their I AM Presence.

chart of your divine self001

Those who would follow Jesus in his footsteps must understand the meaning of drinking his cup; they must realize that great protection and vigilance are required every hour, dipping into the communion cup each week, receiving from the altar the fire of the Holy Spirit as that protection on the way.

Let us realize how great, therefore, is the protection of God given to us in this Great Commandment to love the Lord thy God. This means the Lord, the I AM THAT I AM, the I AM Presence representing Elohim (see Pearls of Wisdom, vol. 21, nos. 8-27) where you are. Your representative of the Godhead—in fact, the replica of the Presence of God—is the Mighty I AM Presence.

There is only one Mighty I AM Presence, but we say, “My God and your God,” as Jesus did, (John 20:17) reinforcing the conception that each individual must individualize the God flame and therefore make it apparent, bring it forth, show forth by life—example, words and works, by the very Presence, by the perfume of the soul, by vibration and kindness or brilliance or whatever the virtue—what is the aspect of God that portrays the fullness of the Godhead truly dwelling bodily within us (if we will it so) as it did dwell in the Son of man, Jesus Christ.

This one God of all Israel is the very fire of creation, the Presence of God in the Great Central Sun, the one God who is able to heal all thy diseases, if thou wilt be healed. Therefore, you have with you always the Presence, I AM THAT I AM, that is the concentrate, the Person of the Father bearing the power of Elohim.

Therefore, the commandment is to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart. What is thy heart? Thy heart is a vessel that contains the divine spark, the threefold flame of life. Thy heart is a chalice, it is the Holy Grail. It contains the body and blood of the living Christ.

Loving God with all thy heart is with the full momentum of thy life, for the heart is thy life. It means loving—directing to God all of one’s love and heart.

Thus, the mystery here in the Great Commandment is to give back to God by free will all that he has given us. And by giving to God all of our heart, loving him with all of our heart, we are taking every bit of his life that he sends forth perpetually as the River of Life, as the crystal cord, and saying, “I have received. I will return this life of God with all of my heart.”

Thus, the mystery of the Great Commandment is: life is a two-way street. God sends forth his light; he gives us free will to send it back to him in love. And if we so do, we establish this closed circuit, a mighty circle of life. None can enter, none can penetrate with devices of unreality.

Sending all of our heart’s love to God protects us from ignorance, from karma, from world conditions because we are sealed when we are perpetually loving God. It is a tremendous gift of free will. We have the choice to love or not to love God, to direct our heart to him or not to. And therefore, we can observe the lever of attention, the lever of the heart—its occupation.

For there are some who do not have a pure heart. There are some who retain hardness of heart, the fear of the heart, records of death. These momentums, which are of karma (therefore we say they are karmic), block the flow of pure love, of one hundred percent of our life to God.

We desire to purify the heart, for out of the heart are the issues of life. When we allow the heart’s energies to descend to feed untoward desires and old momentums, these increase in power because our power is in the heart. And then these desires and momentums overtake us, and when we are confronted by them we are not able to defeat them because we have given them our attention.

And therefore, to fulfill the Great Commandment in all of its essence means to daily withdraw the heart’s devotion and love from those extraneous, exterior matters—matters of ambition or ego. For the ego would displace the Christ consciousness of our heart, setting up material goals, desires to acquire, desires of all manner of things in life. And each one of these desires takes a little bit of the momentum of the heart.

And then, when we need the heart for healing, for the supreme gift of life to someone, for raising the dead, for making our own ascension, for winning a cause, for standing for justice, the heart is weak, it cannot perform. We do not have the full power of the Godhead to pour that heart into His desire, His devotion.

When you love someone with all your heart, you begin to know that one very well. You begin to sense his very heartbeat and his soul and spirit. You live and move with him because out of the devotion comes a oneness.

Thus, when the object of your love is God—first and foremost the Mighty I AM Presence and then that Presence of God in all people—when you love God with such a steadfastness of your attention, you begin to know who he really is. You know the Father. There is such a current and an opening established in your life that you speak and he answers. And the acceleration of devotion of your heart clears the pathway for the descent of light. You ask God a question and he answers you by his Holy Spirit, by the Son of God also dwelling bodily within you.

If you don’t practice and exercise and communicate, then one fine day when you need an answer, it will be as though the heavens were leaden and you will hear nothing. Well, if you do not write a letter to someone for many years, and all of a sudden you knock on the door and say, “Here I am!” they will say, “Where have you been all this time? I haven’t heard from you. Now you expect me to be your friend—all of a sudden you need me. Well, I have other things to do today.”

In other words, a friendship or a love requires nourishing, as you water a plant daily. One should not presume upon this love-tie to God. One should have devotion to it as one is devoted to one’s acquaintances and understand that the bond of love needs nourishing.

When you know God because you love him and you feel him, you have a sense of anticipation of the Father’s presence in your life and in your decisions. You begin to know what God would want you to do in the given circumstance. You do not have to ponder every footstep, because your footsteps have a goal and you are moving straight to the goal. You do not have to ask God a thousand questions, because you have the sense of his being and you know what he expects; it is second nature. God has become your second nature because you love him, the Lord thy God, with all thy heart.

Soiritual Psychology: – Do You Want To Do What Jesus Would Do?

Sacred Psychology of Love The Quest for Relationships that Unite by Marilyn Barrick

I remember as a teenager reading the book In His Steps, by Charles Sheldon. It was the moving story of a pastor and certain members of his congregation who decided that for one year they would walk in the footsteps of Jesus.

They would ask themselves, “What would Jesus do?” Only then would they take action. And no one would monitor anyone else’s conscience.

By the end of the year, the church and the lives of the congregation had been turned upside down and then right side up to the glory of God and the fulfillment of gifts and graces they would never have imagined possible. So wondrous was the presence of Jesus and the action of the Holy Spirit among them!

I had always tried to be very close to Jesus, so I decided to try this for myself. I remember how blissful it was, and how difficult it was!

Many times I would pray to Jesus and I would know exactly what Jesus would do—but I didn’t want to do it. So then I would have to pray to Jesus to help me want to do what he would do.

I think that was my first conscious surrender of some ego. And to my great relief, Jesus did answer my prayer. During that time, I certainly learned a lot about my ego and a lot about surrender.

Each time we surrender some of our human resistance and move forward on our spiritual path, we come a little bit closer to becoming who we really are.

As we continue to walk in the footsteps of the Master, we begin to step out of our human cocoon, the trappings of our human doings. We begin to reveal more and more of our divine identity until one day we may fly free as butterflies into the sunshine of the presence of our God.

Ultimately, as we transcend the human and become spiritually one in soul and Spirit, we may be graced to return to oneness in the cosmic ocean of divine love even as we preserve our unique individuality.

MAha Chohan

Representative of the Holy Spirit

The Maha Chohan is the representative of the Holy Spirit. The one who holds this office in hierarchy represents the Holy Spirit of the Father-Mother God, of Alpha and Omega, to the evolutions of this planet and to the elemental kingdom. The retreat of the Maha Chohan, the Temple of Comfort, is located on the etheric plane with a focus in the physical at the island of Sri Lanka, where the flame of the Holy Spirit and the flame of Comfort are anchored. His twin flame is Pallas Athena, Goddess of Truth.

Maha Chohan means “Great Lord,” and the Maha Chohan is the Great Lord of the seven chohans, the director of the seven chohans of the rays. Among the qualifications for this office in hierarchy is the attainment of adeptship on each of the seven rays, which merge into the pure white light of the Holy Spirit. With the seven chohans, he initiates our souls in preparation to receive the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit, spoken of in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.

Breathe of Life

“May a mantle of the adoring grace of God descend upon your hearts with a gentleness of rain from heaven.  Upon the stage before I perceive a vast circular pool.  Surrounding this pool of lilies are the beautiful verdant green leaves, the pads of lilies cupped and cupping the pure white flame of cosmic purity.  This pool shines now with an azure blue. Resplendent and glorious is this pool.  At first, there is a murmuring of the sacred breath rippling gently upon the waters, and then all is still.”

“This pool, symbolical of your own blessed consciousness, is now still; and reflected on the surface you will perceive first the luminescent orb of the moon, polarizing the emotional body of mankind.  And men are stirred because they recognize within their feeling world a sense of adoration for the beauty and loveliness even of the reflected light.  Now the scene changes and the moon passes across the heavens in its direct course until, sinking beneath the horizon, it is no longer visible in the reflecting pool.”

“Myriad stars shine there and they, too are reflected–magnificent orbs of light from afar.  These are representative of Cosmic Beings and of the Ascended Masters’ consciousness.  These too, as Cosmos’ secret rays, are reflected and mirrored in the consciousness of mankind.  Now there comes a mighty descending wind from on high.   All seems turbulent for a moment, for there is a stirring to the very depth of the pool of consciousness.  And then once again a voice speaks, ‘Peace be still.'”

Now all is silent. In an attitude of expectancy and waiting, children of the Light slowly behold the dawn of Being, a luminous radiance of the rising Sun.  It is the Sun of their own Divine Being.  The dawn moves toward noontime and from the zenith of the heavens there descends a glow of effulgent power which in its burning majesty sweeps into the waiting, receptive consciousness of the individual the full-blown momentum of Divinity–the Sun of his own God-free being.”

“In this allegory which I am bringing to you, this splendid luminous orb is symbolical of the highest consciousness.  For the consciousness of the individual is the doorway through which comes all experience, both material (natural) as well as spiritual.”  Your consciousness, beloved ones, functions not only as a surface mirror, reflecting that which is poured into it from everyday living, but also as a sea that has depth.  And there is mirrored in the internal depths of consciousness the wonders of God which have not yet been recognized by the surface mind of man.”

“Know, then, that in probing the laws of the universe–the laws of Universal Love and the laws of the Holy Spirit–you must be able to recognize not only the surface musings of the mind, but also the very depth of conscious being.  And you must pray for your consciousness to be expanded so that you may begin today to perceive the depths of your own being and not that of another.  For all Life is one, and it is in the splendor of knowing the oneness of Life through the doorway of self-illumination that the soul comes to understand the all–knowing depth of the Holy Spirit.”

“It is the sacred wind of the Holy Spirit which moves across the reflecting pond of being and sweeps away the pseudo images of the emotional impacts of life amplified by the moon.  And so in the allegory of the day and the night, man perceives that most of life which manifest here upon this blessed planet is a mere reflection of the real and is not the real at all.  For the moon but reflects the light of the sun towards earth and is qualified by the consciousness of those who behold it from various aspects of life, of relativity.”

“God in his omnipresence enfold thee now one and all in a mantle of the Holy Spirit until, in the splendor of His eternal shining, you, too are one as I AM with the Person of the Holy Spirit in action–free from all vestiges of outer world shadow.”

Lords of the Seven Rays by Mark L. and Elizabeth Clare Prophet.

This ends the series on the Lords of the Seven Rays.

Lords of the Seven Rays: Hilarion

14 Oct

1040.tif

Hilarion is the chohan of the fifth ray of healing, wholeness, precipitation and Truth.  This is the ray of green, which imbues all life with the perfect blend of the blue and the yellow–the faith and wisdom of God in nature.  The eternal newness of the color green charges man with the fire of the sun and the fire of the power to create.  The healing green restores man to the primal nature of God.  The ray of green supplies man with every lack and is the color of abundance and supply.  This is the ray of doctors, scientist, healers, musicians, mathematician and those consecrated to Truth in all its forms.  Hilarion works with all of these, and he can assist us in drawing down the abundance that we need to fulfill our mission in life.  He also assists us in developing truth or clarity in spiritual vision.  Raphael and Mother Mary are the archangel and archeia, and Cyclopea and Virginia are the Elohim of the fifth ray, which is also called the emerald ray.

Hilarion was a high priest of the Temple of Truth on Atlantis. Hilarion was also embodied as Saul of Tarsus who became the apostle Paul after his encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus. According to Saint Paul “a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shinning around about me,” and he heard the voice of the Master saying, “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?”  It was a blinding light and a purging light that descended on Paul.  It was for the rebuke of his human consciousness that had persecuted the true servants of God.  it was for the purification of his sight that he might behold the Son of God.  It was the light of conversion that turned him around and set him on the path of his own personal walk with the Master Jesus Christ.  By the power of the Logos Jesus bore, the master was calling and recalling Saul to his point of origin in the I AM Presence.

chart-of-your-divine-self0011.jpg

Following Paul’s conversion to Christ, Paul was taught by Jesus himself in preparation for his mission.  Paul wrote “God, who had specially chosen me while I was still in my mother’s womb, called me through his grace and chose to reveal his Son in me, so that I might preach the Good News about him to the pagans.”  To what end was the conversion of this Saul of Tarsus?  Clearly, it had to have been for a very special purpose that the Master Jesus personally undertook the tutoring of Paul. In Truth his mission was to build Christ’s Church upon the Rock of his personal encounter with the Lord–to convert the “Gentiles,” their leaders, and the children of light and to elucidate Christ’s person and Presence as the living Saviour in sermons and letters delivered throughout Asia Minor and the Mediterranean over a period of thirty years.

Paul also had another mission–one to be gleaned from his example and that of the resurrected Christ working with him throughout his life as the Lord’s ministering servant.  it is their integral relationship that affords insight into the bond of Ascended Master and unascended disciple and through it the fusion of heaven and earth.  Paul’s direct and touching relationship with his Lord shows the intended friendship and personal initiatic path Jesus holds for every one of us–once we allow ourselves to be fully converted and subject unto the Universal Christ in life and death and eternity.

Lords of the Seven Rays: Paul the Venetian

5 Oct

The Ascended Master Paul the Venetian, Lord of the Third Ray and initiator of our hearts, relates a very touching personal experience from his life as an artist in which his sensitive soul, at one with God, bore the unknown grief of another and then the comfort of the Resurrection Spirit that had the power to heal even an angel veiled in flesh:  “I remember so dearly the day when I first developed enough of the divine sense to feel that God and I were one. It had been a cloudy morning, and I had worked long and hard to try to portray the face of an angel, but somehow it was as through the celestial beauty escaped me and there was a jangle in my nerves and senses and feelings.  This was strange, because I had for some time developed a feeling of serenity, of calmness, of knowing, and now here I was desiring out of that calmness and serenity and knowing to portray a celestial being, and I needed to drink deeply of the fountain of peace.  For some reason, which did not seem to break through to my outer senses, I could not still my mind, and so with some measure of disturbance, shall I say, I closed up shop.  I put away my brushes and frankly there was a sadness in my every movement.  It was not a state of utter discouragement, it was just an unusual state of unrest in my feeling world, almost a dire foreboding that something undesirable would happen.”

Paul left the studio and went into the country. “And in the stillness of the approaching country I began to feel the awakening of the sense of peace, so familiar and so dearly loved… I reasoned quite suddenly that I ought to be strong enough to hold a sense of beauty in the midst of the ugliness and garrets of the city.”  Paul reasoned that he could keep his new found serenity but then he heard sobbing and his trembled for mankind and he prayed for her. “And then I decided that I would enter into simple prayer for her.  And as I prayed, the sun came out with greater glory and it was as through the hands of the angels were drawing back the curtain of dark clouds.  And with this change in the environment of the little cemetery, the young lady suddenly ceased to sob and gazed up with wonder.  Her sorrow and her grief were plainly stamped upon one of the most beautiful faces that I have ever seen, and there was my angel–the face I sought.” Paul spoke with the young women and explained that resurrection is in all nature and all things do return and she agreed but she was lonely.  Paul took hold of her hand “and as I prayed, I felt a surge of the Christ radiance go through me, and I watched as every line of her face reflected consolation, mercy, acceptance of the Resurrection Spirit.”

Through his discernment Paul was able to capture nuance on his paintings of Jesus and the twelve which incited the wrath of the powers that be. Paul stood firm and said that artist take the same liberties as madmen and writers. The name of his painting was changed from the Last Supper to the House of Levi. Near the close of his life, his guru, the Maha Chohan, advised Paul that through his Christic disciplines of Love on the path of the Third Ray, self-imposed for many lifetimes, he earned his release from Earth’s schoolroom and was ready to enter into the realms of immortality.
