Gautama Buddha – Cosmic Master of the Seventh Ray – Wesak

Cloud of Violet Flame from Gautama Buddha WesakCloud of Violet Flame from Gautama Buddha

The following is an excerpt from an ascended master dictation by The Great Divine Director, through the Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet, published in the Pearls of Wisdom®.

For the Lord of the World of this planet is a Cosmic Master of the Seventh Ray and age and violet flame; and therefore it is fitting that he should embody that mantle and office of Lord of the World as this earth is passing, or not passing, initiations to enter that age.

Blessed hearts, you know not what you have in the person of Lord Gautama, for this Master alone stands between mankind and the debacle of her oncoming karma.

I submit to you in this hour of Wesak that you pledge your hearts to the Lord of the World to amplify and blend your causal bodies of violet flame with his own, that Saint Germain might have in you, multiplying your forces with Gautama, a champion and that a sphere of light, of violet flame, might grow between the causal body of Gautama and your own attainment here below, and that causal body should begin as a cloud the size of a man’s hand and should grow and grow and grow that the earth might be contained within this fiery cloud of violet flame.

Will you not take the ritual of the cloud given to you by Saint Germain in your Intermediate Studies in Alchemy and take the tape of this and offer the ritual of the cloud and call forth a cloud of violet flame from the causal bodies of every member of the Great White Brotherhood in heaven and on earth? This, beloved, this will give pause to the Lords of Karma and the Four and Twenty Elders and cause there to be a mitigation of those prophecies that have been released through our Messenger.

Violet Flame Mitigates Karma

And where there is not a full turning back of karma predicted there may be a mitigation, and if not for mankind, surely, I say, surely there will be for those Lightbearers who have read the signs of the times, who have seen what the future portends and have kept the flame. The Lord does reward every man and woman and child according to his word and his work, according to his honor, to his service, and to his love toward every part of life.

Blessed hearts, no matter what does happen to mankind or this planet, you, by your alignment with God and your offering of these violet flame decrees to save a world, will have stored in your causal body and in your chakras such a mighty momentum of violet flame that your victory in the Light shall be assured.

Thus, wherever we are in cosmos we live to serve the Light and the evolutions of which we are a part; and we live to offer that invocation and mantra to increase the rings of our causal body and our chakras, even as the trees in the forest add the ring each year.

So, beloved, this twofold reason for being does always result in that which you send forth returning to you in toto multiplied ten thousand times ten thousand. As you sow light you shall reap light. As you are in the Light (i.e., Christ consciousness) you shall find yourself in the Light of a golden age somewhere beyond time and space.

Golden Age of Aquarius

Let us hope that by your effort, that which is above, which is called the kingdom of heaven, which is indeed the golden age of Aquarius in etheric octaves, may be on earth as it is in heaven. This will come only if those on earth embody it.

And so you see, all predictions and prophecies of a golden age come down to and rest upon the free will of those who see and know and understand the exercise of the science of the spoken Word as an effective means to the realization of that golden age on earth.

If you choose to embody that age and you make those sacrifices whereby many are converted through the Holy Spirit by your example, you may see that age manifest of a glory and of an opportunity, of a science beyond all imagination, of the alchemy and of the development of the mind potential and the heart potential such as has not been seen in this world since prior golden ages that are beyond history’s memory in this hour.

This ascended master dictation by the Great Divine Director is published in its entirety in the Pearls of Wisdom, vol. 32 no. 31, July 30, 1989. The dictation was given in New York City and is entitled, “The Divine Plan for the Aquarian AgePlanet Earth Hangs in the Balance; A Dispensation for the Sponsorship of Twin Flames; Call Forth a Cloud of Violet Flame from Gautama Buddha.”

Gautama Buddha on January 1, 1956, became Lord of the World, holding at inner levels the office of the highest governing being in the spiritual hierarchy for a planet and its people; Lord Gautama Buddha, has served the earth and her evolutions through many embodiments, experiencing great illumination during the Lemurian epoch.

Born in northern India in 563 B.C. as Prince Siddartha, he was early convinced of the emptiness of worldly life, and he sought earnestly for a revelation of holy wisdom.

Relinquishing his earthly kingdom and severing all human ties, he lifted the cup of his attention until he became one with his own God Source. Thus wholly one with divine truth, he passed the initiations leading to the attainment of the Buddhic level of consciousness.

Returning to the human form—now transfigured—he was known among his people as the Enlightened One, which is the meaning of the word Buddha. Functioning in his physical body, he became the teacher of teachers expounding the Middle Way.

Gautama passed through the ritual of the ascension in the month of May at the close of that embodiment. He remained in the planes of nirvana until the mid-twentieth century when he addressed and continues to address (from ascended state) the mankind of earth through his readied instruments.

Each year in May on a plateau on the northern slope of the Himalayas, the Wesak festival is held to commemorate Lord Gautama’s birth, his attainment of Buddhahood and his ascension in the light.

At that time, Gautama Buddha addresses disciples on several planes and the radiation of the Buddha is anchored in the world of form through his Electronic Presence.  All of life receives his blessing, including angels, elementals, and souls walking the path of individual Christhood.

Chakras and the Eightfold Path of Gautama Buddha

Elizabeth Clare Prophet discusses The Middle Way in her book The Path to Attainment, Volume 9 of the Climb the Highest Mountain series.

I would say that in the East we have a tendency toward greater self-mortification and in the West we have a tendency toward greater self-indulgence. We do need the Middle Way.

Gautama taught that this Middle Way leads to six conditions of consciousness. They are insight, wisdom, calmness, higher knowledge, enlightenment and nirvana.

Celebrate Wesak with Buddhist Meditations here.

Wesak Buddha Meditations by Elizabeth Clare Prophet

The Four Noble Truths

Gautama proceeded to teach his disciples the Four Noble Truths: First, that life is dukkha, “suffering.” Second, that the cause of this suffering is tanha, “desire” or “craving.” Third, that suffering will cease when the craving that causes it is forsaken and overcome.

This state of liberation through the cessation of suffering leads to nirvana, which means literally extinction or blowing out—the blowing-out of the not self. The Fourth Noble Truth is that the way to this liberation is through living the Noble Eightfold Path, or the Middle Way.

The Eightfold Path

The first step on the Eightfold Path is to have right understanding, or right views. The second is right aspiration, right thought, or right resolve. Third is right speech. Fourth is right action, or right conduct. Fifth is right livelihood. Sixth is right effort. Seventh is right mindfulness, and eighth is right concentration, or right absorption.

These eight points of self-mastery are the endowment of your Holy Christ Self. Know this Holy Christ Self as your Real Self, and know your Real Self as possessing all of these attributes. Know that your Real Self has developed them to the full level of Christ-mastery and adeptship and is waiting for you to receive them.

As you put on these attributes in daily striving and attentiveness to the precepts of the Law, you are putting on the robes of righteousness of your True Self. You are putting on your deathless solar body, which Jesus referred to as the wedding garment. You weave this wedding garment by the practice of these eight right attitudes.

Eight Points of the Law

These eight points of the Law fulfill the seven rays of the seven chakras and the eighth ray and chakra, which is the secret chamber of the heart.

1 – Right Understanding

Heart Chakra wallet cardThe first is right understanding, right viewpoint, right perspective—being centered neither to the left nor the right in relative thinking but being centered in God. This is a quality that is developed through the heart chakra and the third ray, whose color is pink and may intensify to a deep rose. The heart chakra has twelve petals.

We remember the prayer of Solomon: “Give me, O Lord, an understanding heart.” Right understanding, or right views, is described as knowledge of the Four Noble Truths; having views free from superstition or delusion; having penetrating insight into reality, or emptiness. Gautama said to his disciples: “What, now, Brothers, is Right Understanding?

“When … the disciple understands Evil and understands the Root of Evil; when he understands Good and understands the Root of Good; this is Right Understanding.

“What now … is Evil? Killing … is evil. Stealing is evil. Unlawful sexual intercourse is evil. Lying is evil. Slandering is evil. Using harsh language is evil. Vain talk is evil. Covetousness is evil. Cruelty is evil. Wrong views are evil.

“And what, Brothers, is the root of Evil? Greed is the root of Evil; Anger is the root of Evil; Delusion is the root of Evil.

“And what, Brothers, is the root of Good? Freedom from Greed … freedom from Anger … freedom from Delusion is the root of Good.”

When we think about the conditions of consciousness of greed and anger, we can objectively see them and determine whether they are in us or not.

But when it comes to delusion, we are self-deluded by our own desires, by our own pride and ego.

We are so much a part of the ego and its pride and its desires that we do not know we are in a state of delusion until increment by increment we catch a higher insight and we observe ourselves mounting an inner spiral staircase, if you will, to a point of enlightenment that, if we are observant, we recognize we did not have yesterday. And if we are wise, we will write down the experience and the insight and anchor into it and take another step.

Freedom from self-delusion is a great necessity on the Path. We need to pursue it with all intensity in our prayer and our thought and our daily consideration of the steps we take and what we do.

2 – Right Aspiration

Solar Plexus Chakra wallet cardThe second step of the Eightfold Path is right aspiration, right thought, or right resolve. This point corresponds to the six-petaled seat-of-the-soul chakra, which is the abiding place of the soul. This is the chakra of the seventh ray, the violet ray, which has many shades, from violet-pink to purple.

This is a right attitude that must be had by the soul if the soul is to return to the Christ Self and to the I AM Presence.

The soul’s aspiration must be centered in Godin having right thought, right contemplation upon the law of God and the right resolve to accomplish her mission in life.

This resolution is the use of desire constructively—setting one’s desire, setting one’s sail and moving in that direction consistently, day after day after day.

3 – Right Speech

Throat Chakra wallet cardThe third step of the Eightfold Path is right speech, which relates to the throat chakra. The action of right speech is therefore the right qualification of this ray of power, which is the first ray, the ray of the will of God. The throat chakra has sixteen petals; its color is blue.

With right speech we therefore affirm right desire.

Right speech includes abstaining from lying, slandering, harsh or abusive language, vain talk or idle chatter. Right speech is speech that is kindly, open and truthful.

Gautama said to his disciples,

“What, Brothers, is Right Speech? A man, Brothers, has overcome lying and he abstains from telling falsehood. He speaks the truth, he is devoted to the truth, he adheres to the truth, he is worthy of confidence, is not a deceiver of men…. Thus he brings together those that are at variance; establishes those that are united;… he delights in concord; it is concord that he spreads by his words.

“He has given up harsh language…. He speaks words that are free from rudeness, soothing to the ear, loving, going to the heart, courteous, rejoicing many, elevating many.

“He has overcome vain talk…. He speaks at the right time, speaks in accordance with facts, speaks to the point. He speaks about the Dharma [the law and the teaching] and the Discipline of the Order; his speech is of real value and agrees with its object.

“He bears in mind the injunction which says: ‘In meeting one another, Brothers, there are two things that ought to be adhered to: either conversation about the Truth or holy silence.’

“This, Brothers, is Right Speech.”

4 – Right Action

base of the spine chakraThe fourth step is right action, or right conduct. This is the base-of-the-spine chakra. It is the white ray; the chakra has four petals.  The base-of-the-spine chakra is a physical chakra.

Action and right conduct are the physical outpicturing of all that we contain in our heart, in our mind, in our soul, in our desires, in our being.

It is the energy by which life is sustained and life is continued.

5 – Right Livelihood

Seat of the Soul Chakra wallet cardThe fifth step is right livelihood, and it pertains to the solar-plexus chakra, which has ten petals. It is the sixth ray of purple and gold, the ray of service and ministration.

Right livelihood is living honorably by a profession that does not harm any living thing and not choosing an occupation that is not conducive to spiritual progress. It is what we do in life, how we give of ourselves to one another, to society, to our nations.

Right livelihood must be based on right desire, and the solar plexus is the chakra of desire. Wrong desire breeds wrong livelihood.

6 – Right Effort

Third Eye Chakra wallet card Right effort, the sixth step, is established as right focus through the third-eye chakra, which has ninety-six petals. It is the fifth ray, the emerald ray.

By the All-Seeing Eye of God we focus. And as we focus on what our effort will be each day, the direction of our serving and our striving, we must have purity of desire in the inner eye. We must not lust after another, be jealous of another, want what someone else has.

Right effort is based upon a direct relationship with God. Right effort entails right exertion in self-training and self-control. Right effort is following what are called the “four right efforts.”

We must make an effort to “end existing evil.” We must make an effort to “prevent new evil.”

We must make an effort to “cause new virtue.” We must make an effort to “increase existing virtue.”

7 – Right Mindfulness

Crown Chakra wallet cardThe seventh step is right mindfulness. It is the attribute of the thousand-petaled lotus of the crown chakra. This is the second-ray chakra, and its color is yellow.

Right mindfulness is always moving to establish oneself in the Mind of God that was in Christ Jesus that was in Gautama Buddha and all those who have attained that oneness.

It is having an active, watchful mind, an alert mind that tends to details and masters them. Right mindfulness is the captain of one’s ship. The crown must be opened, because when one has illumination and then full enlightenment, one can direct the courses of all of the seven rays.

8 – Right Concentration

secret chamber of the heartThe eighth step is right concentration, or right absorption. This relates to the secret chamber of the heart, an antechamber of the heart chakra. This eight-petaled chakra is the place of the threefold flame.

The secret chamber of the heart is the place where you meet the Master, the Guru, the Lord Buddha.

Right concentration is upon God and upon the Highest Self and upon the point of Light. It is earnest contemplation on the deep mysteries of Life.

It is mental tranquility and the absence of distraction. Right absorption is the absorption of the mind and of the soul in God and in the Teacher. Without right concentration and absorption, we do not attain the full bonding of our souls to the Christ.

In Buddhist teachings, this eighth step involves meditation and proper breathing, as well as the techniques of Hinduism’s raja yoga (known as “the royal road to reintegration”).

It is a means of finding integration in all of the chakras and in the I AM Presence through direct personal experience of God within by the science of the spoken Word.

Paths of East and West

The teaching on the Eightfold Path is commonly ascribed to Gautama Buddha. In truth, it is the teaching of all of the Gurus who preceded him in the lineage of Sanat Kumara and all who followed him.

It is also the teaching of Jesus Christ. Each one of these steps we can also find in Christian teaching.

The paths that have been evolved in East and West are for the selfsame purpose of placing the hand of the soul in the hand of the Christ Self.

For only thus can the Way be illumined by right knowledge, right aspiration, right speech, right behavior, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness and right absorption.

Impetus For The New Year

29 Dec

Gautama Buddha meditating

In the stillness of the flame of Shamballa I come. I come with my light, like the fabled wand of old. I come with a rod of energy–God’s energy that bursts as a star. And I stand, the Lord of the World, directing the light of the Ancient of Days to all of the children of my heart whose flames beat one with my own. I come from Shamballa, centered in the Royal Teton, yet I AM everywhere in space and I dwell in the heart of time.

Lo, I AM the Buddha and I AM the fulfillment of your heart’s longing for joy. This is indeed the hour of joy, the very bursting of light in each heart, the impetus for the new year that in actuality does start with winter solstice and the lighting of the taper in the heart of the Great Central Sun as Alpha bows to Omega and extends to her the gift of the flame.

And then Omega steps down from her throne and passes the flame to the legions of seraphim who compose the honor guard of the Divine Mother. And the first of the mighty seraphim, the Captain of the Lord’s Hosts, Justinius, does take that taper from Omega to light the second in command. And one by one the tapers are lit until, across the vastness of spacelessness and timelessness, the mighty seraphim wend their way unto the worlds within and the worlds without.

Curious as it might seem given your understanding of the speed of light, the ritual of the fulfillment of the passing of the taper of the new year does not occur on Terra until the hour of the year’s turning. And so the grand ritual of the hours from the Great Central Sun through millions of galaxies manifests on earth in the moment of the appearance of the mighty thoughtform that descends from the heart of God to the heart of Sanat Kumara, thence into my own heart as the adoration to the Cosmic Virgin is sent forth from this planetary orb.

As we receive the impartation of the taper, we return that fire and that love back to Omega, and this is the grand ritual of millions and millions of hosts of light, Buddhas, and consciousnesses one with the Elohim. And therefore, when that focal point of light does reach our heart and we send it back, there is the weaving of the cosmic daisy.

And for each and every one who receives the taper of the Mother in the Central Sun, there is the return current that forms another petal of this cosmic daisy. And the yellow center is indeed the Great Central Sun Magnet, and all of these petals in all dimensions going forth are the action of the flow of the love of the hosts of light for Alpha and Omega and the love that is returned. And this weaving–this weaving of this grand design is for the action, the interaction, and the integration of life flow–as Above, so below.

Do you know, you have spoken of Spirit and of Mater. I desire to tell you something this night concerning the energy of God. It is that as that energy pulsates from Alpha to Omega and to the worlds within and the worlds without, microsecond by microsecond that energy is becoming Matter, becoming Spirit, becoming Matter. You cannot even calculate the fragments of time. They are so infinite, as it were, in their smallness as almost to be not increments at all, but the mighty cosmic flow.

But I desire that you should know that you may elevate and accelerate your consciousness and your vision that the planes of the consciousness of God are not simply two large bands across a cosmos, one of Spirit and one of Matter, but instead there is an infinitude of the bouncing of energy from Spirit to Matter until the entire cosmos is simply one pulsating sphere of God. Suspended in that sphere am I, suspended in that sphere are you. And in that suspension we find that soul, that becoming, that Elohim.

Do you really know when you are on earth and when you are in heaven? Do you really know when you are Spirit or Matter? Moment by moment the pulsation of energy from the heart to the farthest periphery is a focalization of intensity. But then all is stillness as the worlds seem to be still, as energy seems to be motionless, and even you seem to be in the stillness of your flame of meditation. In this stillness is a vast movement, a vast cycling of the energy that is God.

Now that I have taught you a lesson, a first lesson in the all-chemistry of God, can you not then take my hand and come with me and skip in and out of planes of consciousness? Come with me in your finer body this night, in your soul. Come to the Royal Teton Retreat and come to Shamballa, the goal. Can you not see how easy it is to lay aside one vehicle for another, or to accelerate this vehicle to the point of an etheric consciousness? God will withhold nothing from you.

Enter, then, the sphere of harmony in this beginning of the new year.

Nature of God Continued

7 Dec

Cosmic Beings

Continuing our journey through the various manifestations of God, we arrive at what are called “cosmic beings.”

Proceeding out from the Great Central Sun, beings who have earned the right through concentration of energy, of consciousness, of awareness of God, step down this release of sacred fire for lesser evolutions who have not passed the initiations required for them to contain such a concentrated manifestation of light. The term “cosmic being” is a title, not only a description. One newly ascended from the planes of earth with 51 percent of his karma balanced would not be termed a “cosmic being.” A cosmic being is one who is aware of self as cosmos, who can ensoul a cosmos and be aware of energy fields and the control of energy fields that are vast, beyond our ability to even comprehend.
There are certain cosmic beings who came forth when Saint Germain volunteered earlier in this century to help mankind and to give the dispensation of the violet flame. One was his teacher, the Great Divine Director; another is Mighty Cosmos, who releases the secret rays. Victory from Venus is also termed a cosmic being. It simply means their awareness of the God flame is able to approximate measures of cosmic consciousness, the highest that can be contained.[1]

The term cosmic being is used in two ways.  First, it denotes “an ascended master who has attained cosmic consciousness and ensouls the light/energy/consciousness of many worlds and systems of worlds across the galaxies to the Sun behind the Great Central Sun.”[2]

The second meaning is: “a being of God who has never descended below the level of the Christ, never taken physical embodiment, made human karma or engaged in sin.”[3]  Examples of such beings are the Five Dhyani Buddhas. The word “dhyani” is roughly equivalent to “meditation.” The Dhyani Buddhas are not historical figures, like Gautama Buddha, but transcendent celestial beings who symbolize universal divine principles or forces.

Solar Hierarchies

Now we will see how the “three” and the “four” multiply to make the next subdivision of “twelve”—twelve essential qualities of the Godhead.

Surrounding Alpha and Omega, then, are cosmic beings and the twelve solar hierarchies. These hierarchies of light act as step-down transformers. We refer to the twelve hierarchies surrounding the central altar by the names of the signs of the zodiac, for want of any other name. We speak, then, of a hierarchy of Capricorn, a hierarchy of Cancer, a hierarchy of Aries and of Libra. These hierarchies are mandalas of cosmic beings. For instance, the hierarchy of Capricorn could contain as its nucleus 144,000 cosmic beings acting as step-down transformers for the flame that is released from the heart of Alpha and Omega in the Great Central Sun which we call God-power. It is the energy that initiates cycles. Each of these twelve solar hierarchies has an appointment by God to release a certain aspect of the creative light.[4]

Twelve Solar Hierarchies

We find that the stepping-down of energies is individed over and over again. As the twelve hierarchies take the twelve parts, other hierarchies break these down. As frequency is stepped down, so other virtues are borne by separate lifestreams, by separate ascended masters, angels, archangels, and so forth. In the hierarchy of heaven, all have their place; all have their function.
The angels are beings who have not left the purity of God’s consciousness, except in some cases where they volunteered to incarnate in bodies like ours to help mankind. Angels that are called the seraphim and the cherubim who have never touched human creation, have never incarnated and been subject to the fall and the density of imperfection, maintain the highest purity of the consciousness of God. There are ministering seraphim and cherubim who make their way twenty-four hours a day standing before the altar of God and singing “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty!”[5] They hold the frequency of purity which they radiate to the lifewaves and evolutions that continue in the vastness of cosmos.
Scientists consider there are billions of galaxies. Billions of galaxies! When we think of the vastness of the galaxy we live in and then try to comprehend billions of these revolving around a Great Central Sun, it almost defies our ability to equate with the cosmos in which we live. And all of this controlled by hierarchy, cosmic consciousness, beings aware of self as God, as cosmos. And yet all of this which scientists have observed is still only the physical spectrum of the cosmos—a very thin line, a frequency. What is above and below this frequency is yet another vastness of cosmos, of infinity, and also of planes that still are part of time and space. We see that in examining hierarchy, we do need to expand consciousness even to contain a concept of what Morya calls commeasurement—the ability of the individual soul to measure itself against the Infinite, which is quite a task in itself.
The key hierarchies, then, are the twelve hierarchies that form the cosmic clock around the central sun….Then come the cosmic beings. We see a trinity, an order of manifestation where there are three kingdoms of servants, each serving as one of the aspects of the threefold flame.[6]

The Three Kingdoms

The Elemental Kingdom: The Power Ray

The following description of the elemental kingdom is from “The Torch Is Passed”:

The Elohim, the most powerful aspect of the consciousness of God, include in their hierarchy elemental builders of form. Elementals are the sylphs that control the air, the gnomes that control the earth, the undines that control the water, and the salamanders that control the fire element. These four aspects also govern man’s four lower bodies. Serving directly under the Elohim are the beings of nature—the four beings of the elements, who are the twin flames who have dominion over all of the evolutions of the gnomes, salamanders, sylphs, and undines.
Oromasis and Diana are the twin flames of the fiery element. Their salamanders may stand before you nine to twenty feet tall. When you see them, they are a moving rainbow fire with an identity in the fire. They are a white light—a white flame merging into the colors of the rainbow. They are a spectacular sight! They concentrate the energies of sacred fire. They are servants of man, servants of the ascended masters. They serve to keep the physical, mental, and emotional bodies clean by the action of fire. Oromasis and Diana have given dictations. They are ascended beings. But their salamanders are not ascended; they are serving in the planes of Matter. When the dictations have come forth from Oromasis and Diana, there has been an intensity of heat greater than the chelas ever imagined or dreamed they could experience.
Then there are Aries and Thor, twin flames of the air element, who also govern mental action. Under them serve the mighty sylphs who control the air currents, air pressure, and the purification of the air. And they are fighting the pollution of the air and bearing the burden of mankind’s pollution. We have the ascended beings Neptune and Luara, who control the beings of the water—the undines—and the flow of energy in the feeling body of mankind. Virgo and Pelleur control the earth element and the gnomes. All of these, then, serve under the Elohim.
The seven mighty Elohim and their divine complements, their feminine counterparts, are the builders of creation. It was they who responded to the fiat of the Lord God “Let there be light: and there was light” and the fiat of creation to create the worlds.[7) The term “Elohim” is a sacred sound. It is an intonation. Even the repetition of the name releases a tremendous power, and so we give it as a chant: Elohim!
We find that throughout the Bible there are hundreds of references to God as the Divine Us, as Elohim, which is a plural noun, showing that man’s awareness of God was as a plural being, as a dual being of the polarity of the masculine and feminine. The Elohim are the Spirits of God, the morning stars which sang together in the beginning.[8] They represent the power of creation—the blue ray, the blue flame in your heart. They represent, in the Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the Father aspect; or, in Brahma, Vishnu, and Siva, the aspect of Brahma—the thrust of creation that comes forth from the masculine aspect of the Godhead.[9]

The Human Kingdom: The Wisdom Ray

The second kingdom in the hierarchy, corresponding to the Second Person of the Trinity, is the kingdom of the Christed ones—the sons and daughters of God, including the seven chohans of the rays and their embodied chelas. These are the ascended masters, and this is you in the state of becoming an ascended master. Because you are evolving in time and space, your evolution will culminate in the kingdom that falls on the second ray, the yellow aspect of the threefold flame. It is the mission of the beings who serve in this order to anchor the mind of God, the intelligence of God, the directives of the Creator’s consciousness. And as we focus that intelligence, the beings of the elements become the servants to implement that intelligence, that intelling of the mind of God.
Therefore, serving in this aspect in this kingdom of hierarchy, we are given tests and initiations in the correct use of mental faculties, in the correct use of free will, in the reason of the Logos. And this is the action of the Word that is made flesh.[10] It is the Word incarnate that is that Second Person of the Trinity. That is this kingdom. So ascended masters and their chelas moving upward in the spiral of God consciousness comprise that order God has created to be the directors of creation and of the flow.[11]

The Angelic Kingdom: The Love Ray

Finally, the third kingdom, functioning in the pink flame of divine love: the angelic hosts—the seven mighty archangels and their divine complements and all of the different types of angels that serve mankind. They serve us at the level of the feeling body. They bring to us hope and joy and laughter, constancy, and a quickening. They sustain the mental concepts that we receive that are ours to hold in our kingdom, the second aspect. Without the angelic hosts, the concepts which we give forth would not put on the feeling body, the desire body that draws the tremendous momentum of the Creator for precipitation in the physical plane. There is very little that we can bring forth as alchemists unless we have the feeling of the creation, the intense love of the creation, the love of that which we are bringing forth.
The angelic hosts silently stand by the children of the light and the sons and daughters of God. They stand guard as sentinels, as pillars of fire, guarding our creation, guarding our consciousness, giving us that quickening in moments of doubt and despair when the mission must go on, when we must conquer. They infuse us with that energy which is the feeling of God, which is that momentum.[12]

The Balance of the Three Kingdoms

How do the three kingdoms relate to each other?  Are they completely separate evolutions or do they play complementary roles in the creation?  Mrs. Prophet explained it like this:

These three kingdoms working in balance, in harmony, are assigned to outpicture the trinity of the threefold flame of life on a cosmic scale. The very flame that burns at Shamballa, that is within our hearts—the blue, the yellow, and the pink—has all of this as ramification in the cosmic hierarchy. Studying these kingdoms of hierarchy, we also learn something about how we apply the flame that is in our hearts. We learn, then, that it is the energy of the blue ray, the thrust of power, that gives impetus to the idea that is contained within the mind of God. Without that thrust of energy, the idea has no momentum. It is like the arrow that is shot from the bow. It is the energy of the pulling back that gives the momentum to the arrow that is the idea of God going into manifestation.
It is the action of the pink flame of love that sustains the creation. This is the action of the Holy Spirit. The angelic hosts are instruments of the Holy Spirit. When we have received the thrust of power, the law, the blueprint of what has to be created, when we have set the mental matrix of the idea, when we have brought forth the creation through love, there is then the necessity to sustain and nourish the creation. That sustaining, that staying power, that staying energy, is always supplied by the angelic hosts. And it is supplied in ourselves by the development of love and the virtues, the qualities, and the feelings that are necessary.
We spoke of the balanced threefold flame as being the mark of the Christed One, the mark of attainment in the new age. We also see that on a cosmic scale in the Macrocosm, it is necessary for these three kingdoms to function in harmony so that in a planet, in a solar system, the threefold flame, as ensouled by hierarchies, is also in balance. If mankind evolving toward becoming masters of life do not even know that that is the path they are on, do not even understand initiation or the laws governing initiation, do not understand hierarchy as a chain of being, how can they pursue even their own way, even their own kingdom of becoming Christed ones? They know not that to become the Real Self is the goal of life. Since that purpose and that goal have not been set for mankind, they cannot even begin to understand the fusion with the other two kingdoms—the beings of the elements and the angelic hosts.[13]

The Seven Rays in the Three Kingdoms

God’s complexity of manifestation multiplies again as we discern how the principle of the seven rays permeates the three kingdoms.  In each kingdom, the beings that serve and evolve there are differentiated by their natural affinity for one of the seven rays.

The chart below shows different sets of hierarchs related to the seven rays: The Seven Elohim, who oversee the elemental kingdom; the Seven Archangels, who head the angelic bands on the seven rays; and the Seven Chohans or Lords of the Rays, who teach unascended mankind the path of personal Christhood.

hierarchs of the seven rays in the three kingdoms

Let’s conclude our journey with the mystery of the name(s) of God and his manifold manifestations.

As we have seen, many spiritual beings who interact with unascended mankind reveal their identity only partially, as expressed in their names:

  • Alpha and Omega: The first and last letters of the Greek alphabet that symbolize the beginning and the ending
  • Mighty Victory: Bearer of the consciousness of victory
  • Great Divine Director: One who holds in his causal body the divine plan for many lifestreams
  • Saint Germain’s name means “Holy Brother.”

In each case we have only been given a name for each one that expresses a particular quality of God. Their true, inner name, i.e. the key to their full identity, remains veiled from us.  Mrs. Prophet comments:

There is not a name in hierarchy that’s the name of the master. Saint Germain is not Saint Germain’s real name. El Morya is not El Morya’s real name. They are names that they use that keys into a certain portion of their causal body. If they gave you their total name, you would have control of their causal body, so they don’t give you the full name.[14]

Like these spiritual beings, every human soul has an inner name.  The inner name is a sound frequency that expresses the real, complete identity of that being. This sacred name holds the key that unlocks the power of the causal body of that being.  Thus, until people acquire a level of self-mastery that precludes misuses of that power, their own inner name as well as the true names of the ascended hosts will remain veiled from them.

Conclusion

This concise overview of how the ascended masters explain the nature of God has shown us a number of principles:

  1. God is One
  2. God exists and acts both within and beyond the creation that we know as the cosmos or the universe
  3. The Supreme One God is not really knowable by human beings
  4. God steps down his vibration and manifests in and through myriad beings and lifeforms at many levels of existence; he can be known by human beings through these many manifestations
  5. All life, having the essence of God in it, is meant to evolve by assimilating more and more of God’s consciousness

Lords of the Seven Rays: Lord Lanto Part 2

2 Oct

Inasmuch as the wisdom of Lord Lanto is excelled by few ascended beings serving this earth, as he is the embodiment of the Second Ray, his flame should be invoked daily on behalf of oneself, and one’s family, and the youth of the world.  As you give the following prayer dictated by the Master, angels of the Second Ray will cut right through to bring order out of chaos in any given situation, personal or planetary.

You may also wish to compose your own prayer asking God for help for yourself and loved ones, naming such conditions which are the result of the misuse of the crown chakra and the third eye as the following:  ignorance, mental disorders. density or retardation, diseases of the brain and the central nervous system, possessing demons of insanity and addictions affecting the mind, body and emotions, and all learning or psychological problems.

Then give “Lanto’s Prayer” with tenacity and let it gather a momentum all its own as you repeat it until all illusion is devoured by the golden flame of illumination from the heart of Almighty God–focused by his servant-son in heaven, your elder brother on the path of the Second Ray who loves you!

chart-of-your-divine-self0011.jpg

Lanto’s Prayer

In the name of Almighty God

I stand forth to challenge the Night,

To raise up the Light,

To focus the consciousness of Gautama Buddha!

And I AM the thousand-petaled lotus flame!

And I come to bear it in his name!

I stand in Life this hour

And I stand with the scepter of Christ Power

To challenge the Darkness,

To bring forth the Light,

To ensoul from starry heights

The consciousness of angels,

Masters, Elohim, sun-centers

And of all of Life

That is the I AM Presence of each one!

I claim the Victory in God’s name.

I claim the Light of solar flame.

I claim the Light! I AM the Light!

I AM Victory! I AM Victory! I AM Victory!

For the Divine Mother and the Divine Manchild

And for the raising-up of the crown of Life

And the twelve starry focal points

That rejoice to see salvation of our God

Right within my crown,

Right within the center of the Sun

Of Alpha–It is done!

After giving this prayer with all the love of your heart for the liberation of the youth of the world, you would do well to meditate on the great causal body of Lord Lanto for the purpose of drawing his Electronic Presence around yourself, or even your city, expanding his golden lotus flame through your own crown and heart chakras.

The soul has been neglected, the soul must be awakened.  And man, too must awaken himself to the soul’s consciousness.  He must never permit the desecration of the beautiful soul which the LORD God made in his own image.  “When every eye shall see him as he is, they shall place their fingers upon the body of his substance, they shall feel the symmetry of the Spirit that is within him, they shall feel the electronic throb of his heartbeat as the essence of his life pours through the garment he wears and floods their souls with identification with higher realms. Then shall man truly come to know who and what he is.”

Lords of the Seven Rays: Lord Lanto

26 Sep

Lord Lanto

Lord Lanto, great light of ancient China, now serves as one of America’s foremost savants.  The devotion to word of wisdom and the words of knowledge of this quietly-wise sage and fiery-eyed bodhisattva has truly qualified him to initiate the evolutions of earth in both gifts of the Holy Spirit. Lord of the Second Ray, he is an Ascended Master in whose Presence the sublimity of the Mind of God can be touched and known, by portion, as he teaches the path of Americans–Yes!  a Chinese master teaching Americans the ancient way of the universal Christhood that made the golden age of China great, that comes down from Maitreya, the Coming Buddha who has come. Lord Lanto conducts classes at the Royal Teton Retreat, congruent with the Grand Teton in Wyoming, for it is here in this ancient focus of great Light that the paths of all Seven Chohans are taught and the seven rays of the Elohim and Archangels are enshrined.  The Lords of Karma, Gautama Buddha, and all members of the Great White Brotherhood frequent this gathering place of the Ascended Masters and their disciples while also maintaining the specialized functions of their own private retreats.

A master of sages and philosophers, Lord Lanto teaches us the path of attainment through enlightenment, definition, and dominion in the crown chakra. He gained his mastery while studying under Lord Himalaya, Manu of the Fourth Root Race, who retreat of the Blue Lotus is hidden in the mountains that bear his name.

himalaya golden lord

Electing to use the yellow ray to enfold the hearts of all mankind, Lanto dedicated himself to the perfectionment of the evolutions of this planet through the golden flame of Cosmic Christ illumination he bears, charged with his momentum of God-Victory for the youth of the world. We can trace his evolution as a high priest in the temple of the Divine Mother on the lost continent of Lemuria, which occupied a large area of the Pacific Ocean, as well as subsequent embodiments on Atlantis. Lord Lanto was a ruler in China and a contemporary of Confucius.  Following his ascension, he accepted the office of presiding Master of the Council of the Royal Teton and of the retreat itself in order to bring to the Western world the flame of science, technology, the culture of the Mother and reverence for Life which he and Confucius had sponsored in the Far East.

Lord Lanto was and is a master of the power of precipitation–an alchemical process of drawing forth cosmic light and substance from the Universal and coalescing it into physical form (a predetermined matter matrix) by the science of the spoken Word.  Master of the fiery core of excellence at the heart of Wisdom’s Ray, hence devotee par excellence of the Divine Mother’s white fire lilies. Lanto remains the Guru of the gurus not only of the Chinese, who he desires to assist in once again raising up the flame of illumination, but also all souls who share his love for the golden Sunward path of the Buddhas and bodhisattvas under Sanat Kumara.

Thus, before his ascension Lord Lanto determined that the light from his own heart flame should shine forth physically as living proof to his disciples that the threefold flame, as in the past and coming golden ages, is the Word that is made flesh and that it can be thus expanded and intensified by the priority of the adept.

Threefold flame001

Lanto so adored the Trinity in the tripartite Light of his innermost being that the intense glow of that Divine Spark could actually be seen through his own flesh form emanating a soft golden glow through his chest.

Through knowledge of the inner Self, we attain

wisdom (wise-dominion), enlightenment and oneness with all life.

Life Lesson:  Create Unity out of Diversity

I am a part of all that I have met

-Alfred, Lord Tennyson

The seventh energy center, the crown chakra, is where we receive and experience wisdom and enlightenment.  The opening of this center in the full radiance of its golden-yellow light has been depicted as the halo of saints.  It has also been portrayed as the vibrant corona around the Buddhas and the dome-shaped or flame-like protuberance on the top of their heads.  The wisdom of the saints and the Buddhas is not knowledge of the things of the world.  It is knowledge of the realty that lies beyond the physical world–the inner reality that enlivens the outer form.  The wisdom of the crown chakra tell us that more important than our intellectual prowess is our knowledge of this inner reality.

When Gautama Buddha was asked, “Who are you?” he answered, “I am awake.”  To be enlightened means that we are awake to our inner potential.  When we are awake, we understand the limitations of our lesser self and the limitless resources of our greater Self.  Through our crown chakra, we can connect with a higher source of knowledge–our own higher mind, one with the mind of God.  We can tap into our own creative genius.  For a genius, as Napoleon Hill observed, is simply one “who has discovered how to increase the intensity of thought to the point where he can freely communicate with sources of knowledge not available through the ordinary rate of thought.”

The wisdom of the crown, inextricably linked with compassion, impels us to share what we have received with those who need it most.   After Gautama Buddha meditated under the Bo tree and attained enlightenment, he entered nirvana for forty-nine days.  Then before he could impart to others the wisdom he had gleaned, the Temptress Mara, tried to convince Gautama to return to nirvana.  There is no use sharing his experience, said Mara, because no one would understand it.  But Gautama did not turn back.  he simply responded, “Some will understand.”  In one way or another, we are all called to share the enlightenment we have received along life’s path.  The wisdom we glean from our higher intelligence, from the universities of the world or even from the school of hard knocks is a gift.  Out of compassion for others we are compelled to share that gift–whether we us it to guide the children in our family or neighborhood, develop a computer program that will help others lean new skills, blog or heal the sick.

I Strive To Reach Beyond The Limitations Of The Human Intellect

One of the secrets of the crown chakra is that this leap in consciousness does not require a doctorate.  Having a well-developed human intellect does not necessarily qualify us to access the divine intelligence.  In fact, Lao Tzu said, Without going anyway, you can know the whole world.  Without even opening your window, you can know the ways of Heaven.  you see:  the further away you go, the less you know.”

The purpose of learning

is to grasp the divine.

-Abraham Abulafia

By educating ourselves, we can prepare ourselves to receive the impulses of our higher mind and the mind of God in our chosen profession.  But the intellect is not the mind of God.  As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “A man should learn to detect and watch that gleam of light which flashes across his mind from within, more, than the lustre of the firmament of bards and sages.”  Tapping into our own higher intelligence can give us answers we can’t find anywhere else.  When you wake up in the middle of the night looking for the answer to a problem, don’t forget that you have unlimited access to all the knowledge and creativity that you need–if you are prepared to receive it.

I Take Time To Slow Down, Still My Mind And Spend Time In Solitude

One way we can balance our crown chakra and prepare to receive the impulses of the divine intelligence is to slow down and still the outer mind.  Are you able to quiet your mind?  Are you easily distracted?  Do you occupy your mind with trivialities or fantasies?  To paraphrase the Taoist sage Chuang Tzu, “If you cannot keep your mind still, that is called galloping even while sitting.”  Does your mind gallop even while you’re sitting?  It’s not an uncommon problem. “It is not possible to observe any discipline without guarding the quivering mind,” says poet-monk Shantideva.  “If the sluggish mind is fixed on something else, he says, then all our spiritual practices, even if we engage in them for a long time are useless.”  Again, that’s because where our attention goes, there goes our energy.

Our minds and bodies are interconnected.  So in order to still the mind, we need to care for our body.  It’s easier to concentrate and focus when we get enough sleep and exercise and when we take in foods and substances that strengthen us rather than those that weigh us down (like too much oil), or make us jittery (like too much salt or coffee).

Another way to bring balance to our crown chakra is to make time for meditation and communion with God.  Take time to study your favorite scriptures or inspirational works.  Take time to receive the revelations that God wants to give you personally.  Spend time alone.  Sometimes we fill up our day with so many activities that we forget to listen for the inner voice of wisdom.  When you look over your schedule for the week, pencil in some priority time for yourself before your hours get filled up.

Sometimes when we get depressed or out of sorts, its because we aren’t spending enough time away from the madding crowd.  When the soul is not allowed to follow her nature inclination towards union with God, the yearning for that union becomes a loneliness that even the greatest human relationship cannot fill.

I Embrace The Unity Underlying The Diversity

At the level of the crown chakra, the thousand-petaled lotus, we are initiated in the highest wisdom and highest understanding–the knowledge that there are not two, but one. There are not two–you and I.  There are not two–you and God.  There is only one:  There is only God.  There is only Spirit.  There is only Self, with a capital S.  The rest is illusion.  This is the mystery that that the mystics and adepts have unlocked.  We can know intellectually, but until we understand it will all of our heart and soul and mind, we are still living in a sense of duality–two, not one.  As long as we operate from a perspective of duality, we have not yet integrated  with the highest energies of the crown chakra.

Instead of being so bound

up with everyone, be everyone.

-Rumi

When we understand that there are not two but just one, then God will share all of himself with us–because we have shared all of ourselves with God.  One of the oldest renditions of this mystic theme can be found in the Upanishads, the ancient Hindu scripture.   In a conversation between the young man Nachiketas and Death, Death slowly unveils the secret of immortality.  He says:  “Some have never heard of Self, some have heard but cannot find him…Logic brings no man to the Self…That boundless Power, source of every power, manifesting itself as life, entering every heart, living there among the elements, that is Self…Tell the mind that there is but One.” Death goes on to explain that Nachiketas he should not look for this “Self” outside of himself.  This indwelling Spirit, says Death, is “that Person no bigger than a thumb, burning like a flame without smoke, maker of past and future.”  This inmost Self, he reveals, is God–who “lives in the heart.”

When we begin to identify less with the outer man, the ego, and more with that Person in the heart–the one who burns “like flame without smoke”–then, and only then, are we on our way to the full flowering of our crown chakra.  As the energies of our crown chakra become more accelerated and balanced, we are able to sustain an abiding sense of oneness with Spirit while we walk the earth.  And we are able to recognize that Spirit within everyone.

When the energies of the crown are unbalanced, we aren’t able to sustain an awareness of the indwelling Spirit that is our essence. or, at the other extreme, we may let our spiritual experiences “go to our head” as we convince ourselves that we are better than others.  The initiation of the crown demands that we let go of our pride our ego, our aloofness and find a way to make our spirituality practical and all-embracing.  The rite of passage that we face at the level of the crown chakra also demands that we appreciate others and learn from everyone.

(The Yogi) see himself in the heart

of all beings and he sees all beings in his heart.

—The Bhagavad Gita

As we move forward into the future, we can learn much from a giant of the past–Akbar the Great, the sixteenth-century Mogul emperor.  Akbar was a great military genius and a wise ruler, the greatest ruler of his time.  But above all, his burning desire was to reconcile the diversity of religious creeds that he saw before him–Christian, Muslin, Hindu, Zoroastrian and Jewish.  He was the first monarch in the medieval age to recognize that truth existed in all religions.  How many people of the world even today, acknowledge that?  Akbar saw the seed of truth in all religions.  As a result, he actually created his own monotheistic, Unitarian religion, called Divine Faith.  His goal was to bring about unity amid diversity.  As you study the mystical paths of the world’s religions, you can see that these paths are much more alike than they are different.  That’s the way it is with so many things in life.  and we can enjoy the diversity–and even benefit from it–while seeking the underlying unity.

Affirmations For Activating The Crown Chakra

Through our crown chakra, we receive the creative thoughts of God and our Higher Self.  The following affirmations can help clear the physical and spiritual faculties of the mind.  They can help you strengthen your intuitive faculties and develop a keener perception of spiritual dimensions.  As you give these affirmations, see the violet flame clearing your mind of all mental blocks, negative images and limiting concepts about yourself or others.  See your mind becoming filled with the brilliant golden light of the crown chakra.

Crown Chakra Meditation

O flame of light bright and gold,

O flame most wondrous to behold,

I AM in every brain cell shinning,

I AM light’s wisdom all divining.

Ceaseless, flowing fount

of illumination flaming,

I AM, I AM, I AM illumination

——————–

I AM light, thou Christ in me,

Set my mind forever free,

Violet fire, forever shine

Deep within this mind of mine.

God who gives my daily bread,

With violet fire fill my head

Till thy radiance heavenlike

Makes my mind a mind of light (3X)

The light of the body is the eye, if therefore thine eye

-Jesus

Through the sixth energy center, the third-eye chakra, we can access the power of inner vision to perceive the reality of a situation.  In addition, the third-eye chakra, as well as the crown chakra, connects us with the magnificent realm of the higher mind and its flashes of insight, genius and originality.  An insight is an in-sight, a looking within.  The word insight means the power of seeing into a situation, into oneself or into the inner nature of things.  It is discernment and penetration.  The third-eye is also associated with intuition, which comes from the Latin word meaning to look at, to contemplate.  Our insights and our intuitions are the interior revelations that come to us through the third-eye chakra when we are in tune with our Higher Self.

You must trust that small voice inside you which tells you

exactly what to say, what to decide.  Your intuition is your instrument.

-Ingmar Bergman

These revelations can come as hunches, promptings or even as visions.  many times, if God wants us to do something or know something, you may find that he will put a picture in front of you.  Maybe a vision or image of what you need to do.

When we access the pure power of our third-eye, we have clear perception and a clear perspective on life.  Through the third-eye, we hold in mind the highest blueprint and the best outcome for a situation.  We tune into what should be (the divine pattern) instead of what is now happening, and we have discrimination to know what is the truth and inner reality of a situation.

The seat-of-the-soul and third-eye chakras are closely linked.  Speaking about the energies of the soul raised to the third-eye, the adept Djwal Kul says, “While the outer man takes life at its face value, the soul is evaluating the flow of energy, of karma, and of the cycles of life from the standpoint of inner realty…The image and likeness of God…out of which male and female were created, is held in the third-eye of each one as the potential that every living soul is destined to fulfill.”  Thus our challenge at the level of the third-eye, he says, is to purify this energy center so that we can anchor the perfect pattern of our being in outer form and focus our concentration on the upper reaches of our highest self.

I Honor The Creative Genius And Insights That Come To Me And Others

Honoring the creative insights that come to us is one way we master the energies of the third-eye chakra.  This requires setting aside our analytical thinking and judging to allow space for the flashes of genius that can come our way.  Detailed analysis and evaluation is an important and necessary skill.  But if we over analysis, we can dampen the creative fires.  We have a responsibility to ourselves and to others to let both sides of the brain have their say–the creative side and the logical side.

Another trap we have to watch out for is the ironclad judgements of our own human intellect.  Our lower mind will try to convince us that the unusual idea that just came into our head is not feasible–or that it’s even downright stupid.  Don’t allow yourself or anyone else to dismiss your inspirations and insights as “just your imagination.”  In fact, as soon as these ideas pop into your head, write them down. Hang onto them.  “The fierce power of imagination is a gift from God,”  said the twentieth-century Kabbalist Abraham Isaac Kook.  “Joined with the grandeur of the mind, the potency of inference, ethical depth, and the natural sense of the divine, imagination becomes an instrument for the holy spirit.”

I Recognize That What I Put My Attention On, I Will Become

When Jesus said, “If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light,” he was talking about the single-eyed vision of the third-eye chakra.  He was talking about the truth that where our attention rests, so will the light/energy of our being.  When the eye is “single”–when it is focused on God, on good, on the highest potential–we open a tremendous highway of light between our world and the divine world.  With all the details of our day, how often do we remember to place our attention upon God, upon good, upon that highest potential?  Taking even a short time-out during our daily routine to focus with our third-eye on the inner light, on God, on our highest goals, can make an incredible difference.  For whatever we place our attention on, we energize.  More than that, whatever we place our attention on, we become.  Gautama Buddha summarized it best when he said, “We are what we think, having become what we thought.”

In order to be perfection

man must see perfection

-Djwal Kul

Dr. Wayne Dryer, for instance , says that what we really, really, really, really want, we will get.  And what we really, really, really, really don’t want, we will get too–because whatever we put our energy into will come to pass.  “Attention is the key,” says Saint Germain  Because our vision and our thoughts have the power to create.

I Strive To Recognize And Overcome Mind-sets And To See As God Sees

When we have single-eyed vision, when we place our attention upon God, we allow our eye to become God’s eye.  We see what God sees.  We see as God sees.  What often keeps us from seeing as God sees is our fixed mind-sets, our stereotypes.  A mind-set is a “set-mind.”  A Zen adept once said “Stop talking, stop thinking and there is nothing you will not understand…There is no need to seek Truth:  only stop having views.”  Have you ever noticed how hard it is to be creative and inspired when people with rigid minds are around?  Someone with a strong mental concept about something is like a barbed-wire fence.  That is why master alchemists, like Saint Germain, tell us it is not a good idea to share all our plans with even our closest friends.  People’s mind-sets or closed minds can spoil our creative endeavors and stop us from tapping into our higher mind.  The severe misuse of the energies of the third-eye chakra to harm or spoil another’s plans is what some refer to as the “evil eye.”

I Practice Holding In My Mind The Highest Image Of Others, Even Though They May Not Be Manifesting It Now

Through the inner vision of your third-eye along with the intuition of your soul chakra, you can tap into the “immaculate concept” for your life, your projects, your plans.  The immaculate concept is the divine blue print for what is meant to be.  When we hold this concept in mind with constancy, when we focus our energy and  inner vision there, we will create the image we are “seeing” and it will come into being.

We can hold this blueprint in mind not only for our own life but for others.  Just as God continually holds the perfect image for us, so we can hold that image for others.  As Goethe once said, “If you treat men the way they are, you never improve them.  If you treat them the way you want them to be, you do.”  At a practical day-to-day level, holding the immaculate concept for someone means that we don’t jump to conclusions before we know the facts.  It means we allow ourselves and others the opportunity to transcend what we might have been decades ago, weeks ago or even an hour ago.  Recognizing our misconceptions can be challenging. We don’t always perceive things as they actually are, because what we take in goes through the filter of our own emotional and mental matrix.

Aung San Suu Kyi said that the search for truth “is in a sense the struggle to overcome subjectivity” as we learn to distance ourselves from our prejudices when assessing a situation.  “The search for truth,” she said, “has to be accompanied by awareness…If you are aware of what you’re doing, you have an objective view of yourself.  And if you are aware of what other people are doing, you become more objective about them too.”  For example, awareness means that when you are aware of the fact that somebody is shouting, you don’t think to yourself:  “What a horrible man.”  That’s purely subjective.  But if you are aware, you know that he’s shouting because he’s angry or frightened.  That’s objectivity.  Otherwise, without awareness all kinds of prejudices start multiplying.”  If you see things as a whole you can always see a humorous side of it.  That is why we laugh at situations which to some seem so serious.

Affirmations for Balancing the Third eye

Visualizations:  Take some deep breaths.  Focus your energy at the point of your third-eye chakra, between your brows.  See your third-eye chakra as a pulsating energy center of intense emerald green.  (If you start to feel uncomfortably or pain between your brows, gently move your concentration to your heart.)  Once you have mastered this visualization, you can then visualize something you want to see take place–the achievement of a goal, the resolution of a situation at work, the improvement of a relationship.  As you do repeat the following affirmations:

I AM, I AM beholding all,

Mine eye is single as I call;

Raise me now and set me free,

Thy holy image now to be. (3x)

————————————–

I AM the eye that God does use

To see the plan divine;

Right here on earth his way I choose

His concept I make mine.

By mastering will and power, we release the elevated energies of the heart

through the spoken word for personal and world transformation.

Life Lesson:  Summon Inner Power to Create Constructive Change

Better than a thousand useless

words is one single word that gives peace.

-The Dhammapada

The throat chakra is our power center.  At this level, we have ability to coalesce through the spoken word what is in our minds and on our hearts.  The sages of East and West tell us that the spoken word holds the key to creating change.  Genesis, for instance, recounts that the process of creation began when “God said, ‘Let there be light.’ ”  Through the throat chakra, we can become co-creators with God.  The sages of East and West also say mastery of the throat chakra is central to our spiritual growth.  That mastery involves not only what we say but how we say it–and what we choose not to say.

I PRACTICE RIGHT SPEECH

Every single time we open our mouths, we are making a choice:  to help or to harm.  Jesus explained that our words are of ultimate import when he said,  “By thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (judged).”  That’s because our words come from our power center  and therefore have incredible impact.  When we think back to the moments in our life that were the most traumatic and the most meaningful, they often involved what someone said to us or about us.

Right speech is a major precept of Buddhism.  It is one of the keystones of Gautama Buddha’s Eightfold Path that leads to liberation.  In essence, right speech means that we guard the flow of energy through our throat chakra and realize the impact it has on others.  It means we look at our ability to speak as a gift that God has given to us to convey compassion, kindness and teaching.  Gautama taught that the one who espouses right speech does not bring division through gossip but uses his speech to create harmony and unity.  “What he has heard here he does not repeat there, so as to cause dissension,” the Buddha said.  Instead, such a one “delights in concord” and “brings together those that are at variance.”  He or she ‘has given up harsh language…He speaks words that are free from rudeness, soothing to the ear, loving, going to the heart, courteous,…elevating many.”

Theosophist C. W, Leadbeater says that at energetic levels our words, even in casual speech, are much more potent than we realize. “Many people think that in daily life it is not necessary to take the trouble to speak clearly,” he writes.  “It matters much more than they think, because we are all the time building our own surroundings, and these react upon us.”

Power is not revealed by striking

hard or often, but striking true.

-Balzac

Right speech is supportive speech, kind speech, respectful speech.  Someone who understood this very well was America’s first President.  In the nineteenth century, a school notebook of George Washington’s was discovered at Mount Vernon, Washington’s home.   It seems that in 1745, the fourteen-year-old George had written in this notebook more than one hundred times “Rules of Civility in Conversation Amongst Men,”  which he had copied from a word that dated back to 1664 or earlier.  These “rules of civility” are a delightful guideline for right speech.  Here are a few of them:

Be no flatterer, neither play with anyone that delights not to be played with.

Let your discourse with men of business be short and comprehensive.

Decide no man’s misfortunes, through there seem to be some cause.

Think before you speak.

I RECOGNIZE THE VALUE OF SILENCE

One of the subtlest forms of imbalance in the throat chakra is idle chatter.  “Those who have virtue have something to say, but those who have something to say do not necessarily have virtue,” observed Confucius.  Gautama taught that the person who has mastered right speech “bears in mind the injunction which says:  “In meeting one another, Brothers, there are two things that ought to be adhered to:  either conversation about Truth or holy silence.”  Idle chatter or argumentation is an obstacle to our self-mastery because it drains our energy.  It fritters away the vitality of our power center.  If we speak only when we need to speak, we preserve our vitality.  The Tao Te Ching bluntly describes the “strong silent type” who has mastered that prescription:  “Those who know do not talk.  Those who talk do not know…Keep your mouth shut guard the senses, and life is ever full.  Open our mouth, always be busy, and life is beyond hope.”

I have often regretted

my speech never my silence.

How powerful and authentic our words can be when they have first been steeped in the silence of our spirit.

I STAND UP FOR AND SPEAK THE TRUTH

Gautama Buddha taught that a person  who embraces right speech “speaks the truth, he is devoted to truth, he adheres to the truth, he is worthy of confidence.”  Speaking the truth involves speaking the facts without distortion.  It means not exaggeration and not jumping to conclusions.  It means overcoming passivity to stand up for what we know is right, regardless of what others think.  “You do not need to justify asking questions,” historian Jacob Neusner once said.  “But if you think you have found answers, you do not have the right to remain silent.”

Confucius once said that by being honest, we raise up an entire nation.  “Promote the honest, placing them over the crooked,”  he said, “and you can cause the crooked to straighten out…If leaders are trustworthy, people will not dare to be dishonest…It is said that if good people work for a country for a hundred years, it is possible to overcome violence and eliminate killing.   This saying is indeed true.”

I EXERCISE THE POWER OF THE SPOKEN WORD FOR TRANSFORMATION

Just as there is a time to speak and a time to remain silent, there is a time to meditate and a time to take the fruit of our meditation and send it forth in the science of the spoken word.  The creative power of sound is at the heart of the world’s spiritual traditions East and West, whether as the Jewish Shema and Amidah, the Christian Our Father, the Muslim Shahadah, the Hindi Gayatri or the Buddhist Om Mani Padme Hum.  Hindu yogis have used mantras for protection and wisdom, to enhance their concentration and meditation, and to help them achieve enlightenment and oneness with God.  In Jewish mystical tradition, Kabbalist taught that by calling and meditating on the names of God, we could tap into an infinite source of power to restore peace and harmony to this world.  In Catholic tradition, the rosary and other prayers are repeated to invoke divine intercession.

Both scientist and sages tell us that the spoken word can literally create change and transformation.  For instance, Dr. Herbert Benson, president and founder of the Mind/Body Medical Institute at Harvard Medical School, found that those who repeated Sanskrit mantras for as little as ten minutes a day experienced physiological changes–reduced heart rate, lower stress levels and slower metabolism.  Subsequent studies showed that repeating mantras can benefit the immune system, relieve insomnia, reduce visits to the doctor and even increase self-esteem.

In Terms of our chakra initiations, prayer and affirmations can also provide a boost to our personal growth because they can help us undo the false mental programming that may be lodged in our subconscious.  Our subconscious is like a recording machine.  It records every impression we have absorbed throughout our life and our past lives–the good and the bad.  And, to our detriment, that includes the negatives we have heard and believed about ourselves.

Every time you think something negative about yourself, every time someone criticizes or intimidates you, your subconscious records the event.  Sometimes we don’t realize how much we’ve been influenced by another’s thoughts or words, especially a parent, sibling or authority figure.  These negatives are booby traps that can undermine our success.  All too often we limit ourselves–our jobs, our income, our educational level, our goals in life–by what we believe about ourselves.

The subconscious not only records negative impressions but, like a tape player on automatic replay, it plays back recordings of the past.  That’s why positive affirmations have been found to be so helpful.  When used properly, they can help us align our subconscious as we affirm the innate beauty and positive potential of our soul,

Handle them carefully, for words

have more power than atom bombs.

-Pearl Strachan Hurd

Stephen Covey in his best-selling Seven Habits of Highly effective People says that affirmations and visualizations can be extremely helpful.  Affirmations, especially those using “I AM,” are a potent form of spoken prayer,  I AM affirmations use the name of God “I AM” to access spiritual power.  “I AM’ comes from “I AM THAT I AM,”  the name of God revealed to Moses when he said, “This is my name forever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.”  The Jerusalem Bible translated this passage as “This is my name for all times; by this name I shall be invoked for all generations to come.”

What does “I AM THAT I AM” mean?  It means simply but profoundly “as above, so below.”  God is affirming, “I am here below that which I AM above.”  When you say, ” I AM THAT I AM,” you are affirming that God is where you are.  In effect, you are saying:  ” As God is in heaven, so God is on earth within me.   Right where I stand God is.  I am that “I AM.”  In an I AM affirmation, you are summoning the inner power of your throat chakras and God’s power within you to bring about constructive change.  You can create your own short, powerful I AM affirmations, tailored to your own needs, such as “I AM forgiveness acting here.”  “I AM the light of the heart,” or I AM the power of peace.”  I AM affirmations are generally given with determination and power.

Every time we say “I AM______,” we are really saying, “God in me is_______.”  And whatever we affirm following the words “I AM” will become a reality in our world–whether we say ” I am sick,” “I am tired,:  I am having a great day’ or I am healthy.”  This is because the state of our body is influenced by what we think and by what we say.  The light of God flowing through us will obey our direction.  Simply put, spoken words command energy.  The creation of our powerful throat chakra are self-fulfilling prophecies.

When you come to the place where you realize that the tremendous energy of God is flowing through you every moment, you begin to have a sense of reverence and awe.  You say to yourself, “Here is God’s energy.  What will I do with it today?  Will I use God’s energy to reinforce the negative side of life?  Or will I use it to affirm something beautiful, something real, something that matters to my spiritual progress and that benefits others?’

The impulse “I want” and the impulse “I’ll have”–lose them!

That is where most people get stuck

–The Sutta-Nipata

The next step in our voyage of self-discovery is to rise from the seat-of-the-soul chakra to the level of the solar-plexus.  Here the soul learns to cultivate inner peace and brotherhood.  She does this by mastering her emotions and desires while dealing with the tests and trials of her karma.  The solar-plexus , from which this chakra takes its name, is the large network of nerves located behind the stomach.  Most of us have felt butterflies in our belly or a wallop of energy from someone who was upset with us, as if we were being punched in the stomach.  We were processing those emotions through the energy center at the solar-plexus.

Feeling like anger, agitation or fear as well as spiritual feelings of peace or devotion are filtered through this center.  Our solar-plexus and throat centers are closely linked, for we often express our feelings through our speech.  So powerful are our emotions that the solar-plexus chakra can multiply–for blessings or bane—what is taking place through our other chakras.

I Engage The Power Of My Emotions As An Instrument Of Peace

When Jesus said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water,” he was talking about those who would become instruments of peace as they mastered the powerful currents flowing through the solar-plexus chakra.

flowing river

Mastering the emotions does not mean that we have no emotion.  Emotion (e-motion) is simply energy in motion.  We can use our energy in motion to reflect and amplify the feelings of our soul or we can use it to subject the soul. We can use our energy in motion to emanate peace or to amplify agitation–to inspire or to provoke.

By staying calm when everything around us is in chaos, by tapping into the powerful reservoir of peace than can be garnered in the solar-plexus, we can summon a tremendous sea of energy to stabilize a situation, whether it is in our home or in a crowd.

The hero is the man

who is immovably centered

–Ralph Waldo Emerson

The test of the emotions comes in big and little ways, tempting us to indulge the emotions or lose control of them.  God wants us to master our lessons in energy flow, and he needs to make sure we’ve got it right.  For God will not give us more energy than we can hold in the chalice of our chakras and put to good use.  Why do we want a reserve of energy?  So that when the necessity arises we can send out to others, through our chakra and our aura, the healing light of joy, freedom, peace, love, power, vision and wisdom.

So when you are confronted with the trials of life that seem to be trying to unseat you, it’s because you’re doing something right, not something wrong.  When we’re committed to a course of spiritual growth, we can expect that we’ll be tested.  That’s what that quizzical verse we learned in Sunday school was all about:  “Count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.  But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire.”

Self-conquest is indeed, far greater

then the conquest of all other folk.

–The Dhammapada

Tibetan Buddhism teaches that anger is one of the “poisons” that are deadly to our spiritual growth.  Through anger we can very quickly lose any ground we have gained.   Like a baby who cries until he is literally exhausted, tirades of anger or other forms of emotional abuse can exhaust our energy supply–and cause turmoil within the energy centers of others.  Anger, is a symptom of a deeper malaise, telling us to dig below the surface.  Often what is hovering underneath is fear or insecurity or grief, and anger is the way, however unhealthy, that we chose to cope.  Anger does not change a situation; it usually makes it worse.  If we are serious about overcoming our unbalanced emotions, we first have to find out what is at the root of them.

I Strive To Walk The Middle Way

Gautama Buddha articulated the initiation of the solar-plexus chakra when he taught that we can make the best spiritual progress by walking “the Middle Way.”  In his first sermon after his enlightenment, given at Sarnath, India, Gautama explained that we can only attain enlightenment by avoiding the extremes of self-indulgence and self-mortification–by walking the Middle Way.  One hallmark of the Middle Way is tolerance.  Its nemesis is fanaticism or extremism, either to the right or to the left. Tolerance means that we accept others as they are because we haven’t walked in their moccasins and we don’t know the burden they may be carrying.  On the other hand, avoiding extremes doesn’t mean we are wishy-washy. Our point of balance, our fulcrum, is strong because it is centered in a solid sense of identity and purpose.

I Seek To Align My Desires With My Goals In Life

We can’t have inner peace if we don’t master our desires.  This doesn’t mean we have no desire.  Mastering desire means we tether our desires to the true desire of our soul and God’s desire for us.  When we are able to do that, the momentum of energy in our solar-plexus will propel us towards the fulfillment of our soul’s divine potential.  Our desires, like our emotions, aren’t automatically “bad.”  Gautama taught that the reason we suffer is that we crave.  We suffer when our desires are self-centered or selfish, when they reinforce the human ego and don’t take into account the needs of others.  There is a Buddhist saying about this grasping, possessive part of human nature:  “all the harm with which this world is rife, all the fear and suffering that there is:  clinging to the ‘I’ has caused it!  What am I to do with this great demon?”

The motive behind our desire is what counts.  For instance, if we desire to be educated or to become a doctor or lawyer so we share the talents God has given us and improve life for others, this is right desire.  If this pursuit is based solely on the desire to amass wealth or to control or impress others, that would be self-centered, inordinate desire.  In other words, there is always the option to fulfill our desires on a higher plane, the plane of service to life.  The spiritual meaning of the word desire is Deity siring–God and the presence of God within you giving birth to the highest and noblest aspirations of your soul.  Whenever you desire, you are creating (or giving birth to) something.  If the energies of your solar-plexus are balanced and at peace, the creations born of your desire can be beautiful, powerful and effective.

When you don’t get confused, our nature is naturally stable;

when your nature is stable, energy naturally returns.

-Lu Yen

Just because we feel the urge to have or to do something doesn’t mean it’s right for us.  We have to distinguish at the soul level whether what we are responding to is God’s desire for us or a desire that stems from an unhealthy pattern of the past.  Another key to evaluating desire is perspective.  Sometimes pulling away from a situation will give you a reality check.

I Set Aside My Own Desire When Necessary To Support And Serve Others

In a moment of self-reflection, Chief Luther Standing Bear once said, “As A child I understood how to give.  I have forgotten this grace since I have become civilized.”  The greatest gift you can give is the gift of yourself.  God endows us with talents and special qualities so that we can share them with others.  We’re like God’s messenger.  We’re God’s hands and feet on earth, delivering love or comfort, joy or illumination to those he cannot touch physically.  “Freely ye have received, freely give,” taught Jesus.  And the more we give, the more we open up the energy flow.  The more we prime the pump, the more that energy flows back to us.  That’s a principal of abundance, and it works.

We can choose to say, “Here I am God. You have created me.  Use me.  Use every aspect of my mind and heart and soul and all of my chakras to manifest your light and your love to everyone I meet!  Or we can become possessive.  We can claim the energy that comes to us from our universal Source as our own and stop the flow.  When we stop the flow that energy gets backed up. This creates a downward energy spiral that draws us down into the lesser self rather than a positive energy spiral that sweeps us up into higher vibrations of spiritual awareness.

                              The Prayer of Saint Francis

Lord,

Make me an instrument of they peace.

          Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

           Where there is injury, pardon;

           Where there is doubt, faith;

           Where there is despair, hope;

Where there is darkness, light; and

            Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,

Grant that I may not so much

Seek to be consoled as to console,

To be understood as to understand,

To be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive,

It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and

It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
