9 Steps to Making your own Treasure Map

17 Oct

A treasure map, or vision board, is a colorful blueprint of your dreams and goals. It’s one of the tools of spiritual alchemy, which is a way to manifest an abundance of good things in your life.

The world makes way for a man who knows where he is going. -Ralph Waldo Emerson

It’s a fun activity which is very worth your while, so here’s a step by step guide of how to make a treasure map.

1. Plan Your Treasure Map.

Make a list of your dreams and goals. The list can include spirituality, finances, career, family, children, relationships, education, health, travel and hobbies. Groups of people can also create treasure maps focusing on a joint venture at work or home. Don’t limit yourself, think of your highest aspirations. Also strike a balance, think hard about what you really need.

2. Allow God to Inspire and Guide You

You may like to meditate on your choices, it’s up to you. Think about your priorities. You may want to use treasure mapping to become financially successful, but remember to include other things like spiritual fulfillment.

Money or happiness; which is more valuable?…If your happiness depends on money, you will never be happy with yourself. ~ Lao Tzu

3. Collect Pictures

Look though catalogs, magazines and the internet. Print and cut out pictures of what you want. If you can’t find something in the color/size/make you want, you could draw it. The imagination engages best with color.

4. Write Positive Statements

Write some positive spiritual affirmations or statements. Write in the present tense (as if you already own or do something) or state dates when you want the things accomplished by. If you need money, you could write a check out to yourself for the exact amount you need.

5. Decide on the Size

Decide what size you would like your vision board to be. Make sure it doesn’t look cluttered so it’s not difficult for you to focus on the individual pictures.

You may decide to make a few smaller ‘themed’ treasure maps. If it’s a personal one, make sure no-one else sees it, or at least no-one who is likely to be critical and block the energy flow. It’s best if you can easily cover it or put it away somewhere when you’re not looking at it.

You might like to place the pictures on a piece of card/posterboard in a pastel or gold color, in a scrapbook or make a slideshow as your screen saver on your computer.

6. Arrange and Fix

Arrange your pictures and statements and stick them down.

Vision boards are ever-changing resources! Whether you receive what you asked for or you refine your desires, you’re going to want to shake it up every now and then. You may like to use blue-tac/white tack, drawing pins or small amounts of glue stick so it’s all adjustable.

7. Placement on the Map

Put your map in a place that you can easily see when you rise in the morning and go to bed at night. Have a good look at it at least twice a day and read your affirmations out loud if you can. Visualize holding, having, doing and living with what you’ve pictured as if you have it or it’s happened now.

8. Give and Take

As with everything, there’s got to be give as well as take. This can involve devotions, or service done with your whole heart.

It’s also good to write a letter to God or your favorite spiritual guide, thanking them for what you already have, apologizing for things you wish you hadn’t done, promising to give devotions or service (be realistic) and asking specifically for what you would like and when. I always ask for it to be adjusted to the will of God because He can see the big picture of my life and the lives it will affect. Then burn the letter while asking the angels to take your message to God.

9. Believe

Believe it will happen and keep your faith. Wait for it. Also keep an open mind about how it’s going to manifest – expect the unexpected. Faith is the building block for any spiritual alchemy.

I hope you have fun experimenting with your own treasure map. I know I do!

Here a few more tips to working with the Ascended Masters on your treasure map.

Plan your treasure map before you create It. First, make a list of the dreams you want to see come true in each area of your life. Your list can cover career, finances, family, children, education, health, home, relationships, spirituality, travel and hobbies.

  • Allow God to Inspire and guide you. Ask your I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self to show you which of your desires are God’s desires for you. Then refine your ideas. Once you are certain about what you need, you are ready to construct your treasure map.
  • Use green paper. Treasure maps can be any color you want but they work particularly well when you use green paper or card stock, since this color immediately connects you with the green ray’s energy of abundance and precipitation.
  • Make your treasure map large or small. Your map can be big enough to post on a wall or door, or small enough to fit in a notebook or scrapbook.
  • Make one or more maps. You can picture several goals on one map or create more than one, each dedicated to a different need. Divide your map or scrapbook into sections for each area of your life. Then choose images and statements that show exactly what you want to accomplish in that area.
  • Be precise when selecting images and statements for your map. Show and tell exactly what you want. including size, dimension, color, location and target date.
  • Always picture something better than the best of what you are experiencing now. You always want to be reaching for something higher.
  • Use colored images on your map. The imagination responds well to color. Include pictures of your favorite ascended masters to remind you that they are helping you accomplish your goals.
  • Accompany your Images with words and affirmations describing your needs.
  • Keep your treasure map uncluttered.
  • Include what you will offer to God In return for the blessings you are requesting.
  • Keep your map private. It is better not to share it with others.
  • Meditate on your map at least twice a day. Put It in a place where there is positive and uplifting energy, and it can readily be seen. If you think others might Interfere with your alchemical precipitation, move the map out of sight when you are not alone. Look at it in particular before you go to sleep so your subconscious mind will work on the realization of your desires for an uninterrupted period of time.
  • Ask God to fulfill your requests according to his will.
  • Update your map as needed.

Becoming the Buddha: Wesak A Celebration

24 Apr

Wesak is the celebration of Buddha’s birth & enlightenment, & in some traditions also his death. As the most important figure in Buddhism his life is celebrated and revered. Gathering to chant and pray are an important part of a traditional Wesak celebration.

It is said that Wesak is that time at the Full Moon of May in which the Christ gathers the entire Spiritual Hierarchy together in meditation to invoke the forces of Shamballa. The Buddha, representing those forces, appears and blesses humanity.

The ceremony of Wesak is held in the actual Wesak Valley in the Himalayas at the time of the full moon of May (which is actually the full moon of Scorpio). A vast crowd assembles in the valley, in front of the great rock table at the end of the valley. Alice A. Bailey describes this event in The Unfinished Autobiography. It is said that the Christ and the Buddha conduct the ceremony of Wesak from a rock table at the end of the valley described by Bailey as “…an immense rock, rising out of the floor of the valley like a great table.”

The second of the three major spiritual planetary festivals is The Wesak Festival, The Buddha’s Blessing, and is celebrated in the eastern hemisphere at the Taurus full moon. (The first, in April, is the Festival of the Christ and the third, in June, is the Festival of Humanity.) Wesak is the festival of The Buddha, divine intermediary between the highest spiritual center, Shamballa, and the Hierarchy.

The Buddha is the expression of the Wisdom of God, the embodiment of light and the indicator of divine purpose.

Wesak – the Sun in Taurus Full Moon, is the most powerful Full Moon of the year. The Sun’s transit through Taurus exalts the Moon and Taurus is ruled by Venus, the spiritual ruler of Earth. Venus is identified with Mary, the World Mother. May, the month of Taurus, is the month of Mary. Venus appears in the west as the feathered serpent god Quetzalcoatl who brought enlightenment to the Mayans; in the east she is Maya, mother of the Buddha.

The lunar cycle is a wave of creation that comes to fruition when the Moon is full. Each Full Moon brings revelation and possibility for healing body, mind, and soul. The Moon is the Mother whence comes reflected Light of the spiritual Sun to nurture, support, protect, and bring to flower the seeds of creation.

The Full Moon is like a pitcher pouring out a healing elixir. The celestial dispensation continues for three days following the day of the Full Moon. Calm and balance, deep breathing, meditation, yoga, rhythmic music and dancing help for receiving the blessings of heaven.

Locally the Full Moon has strong effect in the hour following Sunset when the Moon is rising and at local Midnight when the Moon is directly overhead. This Sun in Taurus Full Moon is called Wesak (WE-sock). Mystics say that the Buddha returns now to help regenerate the Earth.

According to metaphysical tradition, the Buddha was born, attained enlightenment, and left Earthly incarnation under the Full Moon of Taurus. And the Buddha returns at this time each year to bring new light to the world. Spiritual leaders gather in Wesak Valley, a mythic place high in the Himalayas. Here initiates led by the Christ arrange themselves into a great pentagram (the Venusian emblem of world soul) while the Buddha hovers over those gathered radiating light. This cosmic alignment occurs during the eight minutes centered on the moment of the Wesak full moon.

The annual cycle of the Spiritual Festivals offers opportunity for people of all faiths to cooperate. Together, the three full moon festivals of Aries, Taurus and Gemini form a united spiritual approach by humanity to divinity.

The day of the Festival is to be known as the “day of safeguarding” whilst the two succeeding days are called the “days of distribution.”

For two days prior to the full moon, we will hold the attitude of dedication and service and seek to assume that attitude of receptivity to that which our soul will impart which will make us of use to the Hierarchy. The Hierarchy works through groups of souls, and the potency of this group work is to be tested out. These groups in their turn contact and feed the waiting dedicated attentive personalities. On the day of the full moon, we attempt to hold ourselves steadily in the light. We will not formulate to ourselves what will happen nor will we look for results or for tangible effects.

On the two succeeding days, the focus of our attention will be steadily turned away from ourselves but also from the inner subjective planes to the outer world, and our efforts will be to pass on, or to pass through, that measure of spiritual energy that may have been contacted. Our work then in this particular and peculiar field of cooperation will then be ended.

This effort of the Hierarchy is a five days’ effort, preceded by a most intensive period of preparation. The work of getting ready for the opportunity starts for the Hierarchy exactly at the hour when “the sun began to move northward.” But they tire not as do human beings and it is not possible for the human aspirant to keep up so long a period of preparation, no matter how deep his devotion.

When the Great Lord was on Earth, He told His disciples that successful spiritual effort of a healing nature went not forth except by prayer and fasting. Will you ponder on these words? This is a group effort towards a vast group healing and by prayer (sanctified desire, illumined thought and intense aspirational longing) and by the discipline of the physical body for a short period and for a definite objective, the work can be done.

The Wesak Festival has been traditionally associated in eastern civilization with the Buddha, divine intermediary between the highest spiritual center on the planet, Shamballa, and the Hierarchy. The Buddha is the expression of the Wisdom of God, the embodiment of Light and the indicator of divine purpose, cooperating at this festival with his brother the Christ, who represents the Hierarchy. The Buddha embodies the Principle of Light, and because of this illumination humanity was able to recognize the Christ, embodiment of the still greater Principle of Love. Each year at the time of Wesak, two great streams of energy – one focused through the Buddha and the other through the Christ – are fused and blended, and it is the task of world servers to precipitate this combined energy into the waiting world.

In mutual service to humanity, the Buddha and the Christ bring about a linking that blends East and West, uniting the world’s major religions in a shared holy day in which religious distinctions disappear. In the beautiful water ceremony of communion is portrayed the symbol of the new age which is upon us, the Aquarian Age, the age of the Water Carrier.

During the Wesak Festival the Buddha becomes the “absorbing Agent” of Will. He uses the magnetic power of Love-Wisdom to attract this force to Himself and hold it steady, prior to redirecting it. The Christ then – on behalf of the Hierarchy – becomes the “receiving Agent” of this potent energy and the groups of Masters Who work with the human and sub-human kingdoms (in response to His demand) become the “directing Agents” for the sevenfold expression of this force.

So at the time of the Wesak Festival, expansions of consciousness are made possible that are not possible at other times. Those of goodwill are stimulated spiritually to take initiation, in order to penetrate more deeply and consciously into the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. These reveal more about the wonder of our divinity, and about the Plan to which humanity is conforming.

As powerful spiritual beings, we create our own reality. It is essential that we as a race begin to govern ourselves solely from within, from our own personal connection with the Divine. It can take courage to follow your own moral heart but if we don’t, we run the risk of losing our souls for the sake of getting by. We allow dysfunction to surround us unchecked and to out-picture in our society like a bad dream. Just one heart, one mind standing clear and tall amidst chaos will cause chaos to order itself around it. We, as workers for spirit, must be that clear mind. We come together to reinforce one another’s choice to be free and to stand tall. As more and more of us learn to do that, society will change. The resulting groundswell of clarity and truth as everyday experiences will have to have an effect on ourselves, our societies and our governments all over the world.

Solutions to all of the world’s problems (which means all of yours as well) lie within you! Hidden in full view!

May I now make an inquiry? Of what importance is this full moon of May to you personally? Does it seem to you of sufficient importance to warrant your utmost effort? Do you really believe that on that day  May3, 2015, there can truly come a release of spiritual energy of sufficient potency to change world affairs, provided that humanity plays its part? Do you really believe, and can you stand practically to that belief, that the Buddha on that date, in cooperation with the Christ, and with the Hierarchy of Illumined Minds, plus the proffered aid of some of the Thrones, Principalities and Powers of Light, Who are the higher correspondence of the powers of darkness, stand waiting to carry out God’s Plans, when given the right and the permission of men? Your major job at this time is not to wrestle with the powers of evil and the forces of darkness, but to awaken an interest in and mobilize the forces of light in the world today. Resist not evil, but so organize and mobilize the good, and so strengthen the hands of the workers on the side of righteousness and love that evil will find less opportunity.

If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed in what I have told you, if you have staunch belief in the work of the spirit of God and in the divinity of humanity, then forget yourselves and consecrate your every effort, from the time you receive this communication, to the task of cooperation in the organized effort to change the current of world affairs by an increase in the spirit of love and goodwill in the world during the month of May.

How to Ascend

2 Apr

The ascended masters have told us that the entire goal of life is finding God. And when we have found God, our goal then becomes to merge with Him in the ascension.

There you go. That’s the key spiritual formula upon which all true pathways to God are built: find God; become God.

Now, all that’s left to do is…the doing! Piece of cake, right? Hardly.

Of course, we know that all paths leading to God are filled with the highs and lows that constitute life in earth’s schoolroom. Even the ascended masters acknowledge that earth is a particularly challenging place to navigate.

The path to our ascension constantly brings us face to face with our karma, with all the considerations and demands of our sacred labor, with the fulfillment of our divine blueprint, with balancing our threefold flame and myriad spiritual chores of all kinds.

Pictures of God in Heaven

But rather than drudgery, our spiritual chores can be joyous. That’s because we know where they’re taking us. The goal acts like a magnet pulling us ever closer and closer to our Godly goal.

So is there a tried and true formula for finding God and making our ascension? Yes!

We ascend daily! Day-by-day, step-by-step we climb the mountain of mastery until, finally, we emerge victorious. And while the ultimate victory is our goal, that one victory is made up of all the daily victories we have carved out of life.

Victories of grace and gratitude, of service, self-sacrifice, selflessness and surrender, victories of forgiveness, victories of love.

They come in all shapes and sizes, and taken together, they are the body of work that is anchored as treasure in our causal bodies. They are the bouquet, garnered from our earthly victory garden that we bring to the Father when we have taken that final ascending step into His heart and into our immortality.

Look ahead for a moment and imagine the beaming masters and the joyous choirs of angels saluting you for all the victories great and small that you achieved each and every day on our Homeward path.

When our lives are shaped by gratitude, we’re more likely to notice ...

El Morya’s Deeper Mysteries of Epiphany

26 Dec

El Morya’s Deeper Mysteries of Epiphany

El Morya, King Melchior

The visit of the three wise men to Jesus the Christ Child is traditionally commemorated by the Church on Epiphany, which is celebrated each year on January 6th.

“Epiphany” is a Greek word meaning “manifestation.” Thus Epiphany commemorates the first manifestation of Jesus Christ to the world. The evening preceding Epiphany is known as the “twelfth night,” because it is the twelfth night after Christmas.

Scholars disagree on who the wise men who visited Jesus were and where they came from. The Greek word used in the Bible to describe the wise men is “Magos,” meaning magicians or priests versed in astrology. In Latin, the word is “Magi.” The Magi may have been members of a priestly caste of ancient Media and Persia. Some say that the Magi were a priesthood who served several religions.

Others say that the Magi were Zoroastrians who were accomplished astrologers and adept at prophesying and interpreting dreams. They are said to have used these skills to find the baby Jesus. The Magi claimed to be mediators between God and man.

After the third century the Magi who visited Jesus were considered to be kings rather than priests. Western Church tradition says that Balthazar was a king of Arabia, Melchior was a king of Persia and Caspar was a king of India.

The Ascended Masters teach that the three wise men were illumined lifestreams who followed their own “still, small voice within”—the promptings of their inner Christ Presence.

This divine wisdom drew them—each one—from their comfortable and accustomed abodes in various parts of the Orient, to travel alone through many dangerous and bandit-infested mountain passes and lonely desert wastes, until they all arrived at the same place, at the same (right) time.

The Kings Melchior, Balthazar and Caspar came not only to pay loving homage to Jesus who was to become “The King of the Piscean Age,” but also to give certain necessary spiritual radiations which were to bless the Holy Family then and later.

El Morya, Kuthumi and Djwal Kul were embodied as the three kings. The Ascended Master El Morya was the king Melchior who bore the gift of gold to Jesus. The Ascended Master Kuthumi was the king Balthazar who brought the gift of frankincense. And the Ascended Master Djwal Kul, also known as the Tibetan Master, or the “Tibetan,”was the king Caspar who  carried the gift of myrrh.

In a dictation given on Epiphany in 1980, El Morya imparted some of the deeper mysteries of that event. This ascended master dictation was published in the Pearls of Wisdom® Vol 23 No 1.

The Feast of the Epiphany

Chelas of the Will of God!

I salute you in the epiphany of the Light—the Light that became the Word and the Word that was manifest in the infant Messiah.

The appearance of the Magi silhouetted on the horizon of the messianic age was the sign of the coming of the threefold flame in him and in all who would come from the ends of the earth to worship the Godhead dwelling in him bodily. And the little child whose star led us to the shrine of the Godhead at the altar of his heart was even then the great initiator of our souls.

We came with devotion, with determination, and with the native light of our own divinity which mirrored his own. By the light of God within us, we perceived his light. It is ever thus. And no manifestation—human, elemental, or divine—can perceive his love except it be endowed with that love.

Our appearing, celebrated throughout Christendom as the Feast of the Epiphany on January 6, is the sign that the kings and the priests of the gentile nations and the lowly and humble of heart, one and all who come to his birth bearing the gifts of the Trinity—tokens of devotion, determination, and, most importantly, divinity—may be received of him unto whom it is given to transfer the light of Sonship.

My beloved chelas of the will of God, among those who love the LORD very few are willing to do his will and to walk in his footsteps. And the path that was made so plain, from the plains of Bethlehem to Bethany’s hill, has become of noneffect in the lives of little children.

Those kings and princes of the world who had no light within them have come to adore, though they themselves contained not the flame of God’s adoration. They came determined to have his light, though they had no light within them whereby to receive his light. They came with the sense of their personal divinity that was nothing more than the self-importance of the not-self. They had no cup to receive the transfer of his light.

They have come and gone a thousand times. Empty-handed they come, empty-handed they go. But the folly of it all is that they know it not. And their ritual both blind and dead, though not altering the Godhead one iota, has fooled the foolish instead. And the delicate thread of life and the spark so tenuous in the infant souls of humanity has not been quickened by those who could not be quickened because they had no life in them. Such is the state of affairs in Christendom.

While the top echelons of the blind leaders of the blind argue by what manifestation He is come, as though by their conclusive arguments they could procure salvation unto themselves and the masses, the saints led by his Holy Spirit gather around those very special souls of light who are anointed to keep the love fires burning in the heart of the Body of God.

He received us then,
The little Christ Child,
He receives us now.
He looked into our eyes,
Reestablished the ancient ties
Of a brotherhood so far beyond
The moment of an appearing.
Yet the star above and the star below
Made the sign of the cross,
And we crossed the desert sands
Bearing to our native lands
The light to rekindle a world.

We shall ne’er forget
His penetrating eye.
It has never left us
In all of these centuries.
We saw that day
The eye of God upon the world
And in his face an expression
Like unto our Father,
The Ancient of Days.

It was the eternal recognition
Of the members of our bands,
And we are ever one across the sands
Of time and space.
There are no compartments in heaven or in earth
That can separate us from the memory
Of that eternal sun shining in our midst,
And in our hearts forever echoing
The mantra, “We are one, we are one.”

We held the balance for his life. We held the star of the east which in the fullness of the cycles of time and space he would follow to the retreats of the Brotherhood—to Egypt, to Persia, and to the shrine of the World Mother in India. There he came to consecrate his life to the salvation of the root races of earth’s evolutions and to receive the mantle of their Manus.

He alone
Is the connecting link
Of East and West.
His willingness
To do the will of God
Is yet remembered
By the rishis and the saints.
And the fragrance of jasmine,
Lotus blossom, and frankincense
Remind the devotees of God’s will
That he came from out the starry bands
Of heavenly hosts,
Trailing light and glory,
Proclaiming the mantra and the story
Of the bodhisattvas of God’s will:
Lo, I AM come to do thy will, O God!

In the full remembrance of the Ancient of Days and the Lamb sent unto the hundred forty and four thousand, we come to the heart of every true believer of the Word and we celebrate the epiphany of Christ. Now it is the Second Advent and the hour of the appearing of The Lord Our Righteousness in your heart.

O chela of the will of God, pause in your evening prayer to receive us. As you look into our eyes, remember that we are remembering the look of the Holy Child as he received us so long ago.

We recognize the Guru of your heart. We are ever chelas of the Great God whose Light is also come unto you. We set the example of devotion, determination, and essential divinity. We tend the altar of your heart. We prepare your soul for His coming. With us bow low before his Presence.

O Holy Christ Self, pure stream and issue of God unto the beloved, receive now thine own. Assist to atone. Establish thy Word. Lo, He is come!

And make them one as we are the Three in One—El Morya with Kuthumi and Djwal Kul
for Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva in the secret manger of your heart.

Etheric Retreats

Etheric Retreats of the Ascended Masters

Darjeeling, etheric retreatIn recent eras, few among mankind have entered the etheric retreats and temples of the Great White Brotherhood. The retreats, once physical on the lost continents of Lemuria and Atlantis, were withdrawn to the realms of perfection, the etheric plane, reachable only by the most advanced initiates.

With the dawning of the Aquarian age, however, lightbearers were given again opportunity to enter these retreats just beyond physical awareness. By means of soul travel, you can visit these spiritual retreats while you sleep, as time and space are merely coordinates of infinity.

Universities of the Spirit – Retreats of the Chohans

The chohans of the rays are the closest of the Ascended Masters to humanity. The offices of the chohans are divinely appointed by the cosmic hierarchy. Each one has attained self-mastery and won the ascension by serving humanity on one or more of the seven rays.

On January 1, 1986, Gautama Buddha announced that the seven chohans of the rays had been granted approval by the Lords of Karma to open, “Universities of the Spirit in each of their etheric retreats where they might welcome not dozens or hundreds but thousands and tens of thousands of students who will diligently pursue the path of self-mastery on the seven rays systematically, mastering most especially the first and the seventh rays…”

The Seven Chohans and Their Retreats

Ascended Master El Morya, the chohan of the first ray, maintains his focus of the will of God on the etheric plane concurrent with Darjeeling, India. He is the Chief of the Darjeeling Council, a council of ascended masters of the Great White Brotherhood.

Ascended Master Lord Lanto is the chohan of the second ray, the yellow ray of illumination. He serves in the Royal Teton Retreat, the main retreat of the Great White Brotherhood on the North American continent. He is concerned with the illumination of the youth of the world.

Ascended Master Paul the Venetian is the chohan of the third ray of divine love, the pink flame. He is the hierarch at the Château de Liberté in southern France. He sponsors the ascended master culture for this age and works with all who desire to bring that culture forth on behalf of mankind.

Ascended Master Serapis Bey, chohan of the fourth ray, the great disciplinarian. Serapis Bey maintains the focus of the Ascension Temple at Luxor in Egypt. This is the place where candidates for the ascension are received, and it is considered the most difficult of these retreats to enter. Serapis Bey is the teacher of the path to the ascension.

Ascended Master Hilarion is the chohan of the fifth ray, the green ray of precipitation and truth. He was embodied as the apostle Paul. He maintains the Temple of Truth on the etheric plane near Crete. He works with atheists, agnostics, skeptics and others who have become disillusioned with life and with religion.

Ascended Lady Master Nada is the chohan of the sixth ray of ministration, service and peace. The flame of the sixth ray is purple, the color of violets, flecked with metallic gold and ruby. Nada’s retreat is in the Arabian Desert.

Ascended Master Saint Germain, the chohan of the seventh ray, holds a very important position in hierarchy in this age. The seventh ray is freedom, mercy, transmutation and ritual. Saint Germain is also the hierarch of the Aquarian age. The pulsations of the violet flame can be felt from his retreat over the House of Rakoczy in Transylvania and from the Cave of Symbols in the United States.

The Maha Chohan
