Mantras – Words of Power

Words have power. They can soothe, comfort and heal. They can influence, persuade or insinuate. Words can foment revolution or calm runaway passions. Words are so powerful that they can change the course of history, summon angels…even gain the ear of God!

Some words are more powerful than others

Over time, certain words, in the form of mantras, have emerged that are supremely potent. For example, Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum. This amazing mantra comes to us from the great Buddha, Padma Sambhava, and is known as the Golden Mantra. It is the key to entering into the heart of Buddha, and is especially effective in times of turmoil and trouble, as it neutralizes chaos and despair.

Certain mantras will literally summon God!

Think about that. Uttered correctly and with proper motive, a mantra can literally bring the very Presence of God into our aura. Of course, God is with us always, but the mantra invites a particular manifestation or vibration of the Godhead that can be focused in an especially specific manner.

Consider Om Mani Padme Hum. When done with heart and sincere focus, this mantra has the power to summon the Bodhisattva, Kuan Yin, instantly.

Use mantras anytime and anywhere!

Want a mantra that can focus the authority of heaven in a heartbeat to combat and neutralize evil or danger? Here are two: Shiva! And Vajra! Just saying them with power and force unleashes potent, irresistible energy wherever and whenever it’s needed.
