How to Forgive Others and Heal Yourself

27 Jun

Healing Power of Forgiveness

Forgive your friends, your enemies and all who have ever wronged you.  When you send love and forgiveness to others, you are bringing resolution.  You’re also doing something for yourself—you’re freeing yourself from entanglements of this and previous lives.

Look at the people you are tied to today.  Look at your situation with your job, your family and everything that affects you.  Most of us have difficult people in our lives.  Sometimes we can’t seem to resolve things with them and to disentangle ourselves.  Often it’s because we’ve never forgiven old hurts and old wrongs, some from previous embodiments, so they hang on.  And non-forgiveness, which is hardness of heart, binds us so tightly to people that we never seem to get out of the wrangle, the arguments and the problems.

Therefore, forgive and forget, and move on.  Bless life and be free.  The greatest liberation you can achieve in this life is the ability to forgive all people profoundly, deeply and with the totality of my being.  It is even possible to forgive those who have committed heinous crimes. Of course, this is easier said than done, as we all know.  It’s not easy to forgive those who have committed crimes against the soul, the mind, the body.  So what is the appropriate response to the evildoer?

Resolution is a two-step process.  First, we invoke divine mercy and forgive the soul of the one who committed the wrong, and we also ask God to forgive that soul.  Second, we invoke divine justice for the binding of the not-self of the wrongdoer.  We also ask God to give the soul the opportunity to repent of her deeds and to strengthen herself so she can resist the urge to do wrong when it knocks again at her door.  Engaging in this process can help us forgive even those whom we have the hardest time forgiving.

Each night as we lay our bodies down to sleep, it’s the end of a cycle and we have a chance to forgive.  It’s our time to let go of all discord, all problems and to forgive every part of life.  We want to turn the page of the day and for it to be finished and resolved.

So we practice forgiveness every day, every night.  And as we do, we are taking firm steps towards our goal.  For little by little as we work through our emotions (including anger), forgive ourselves, forgive others and come to resolution, portions of ourselves are daily becoming part of our Higher Self, our Real Self.

I AM Life of God-Direction

Blaze thy light of Truth in me.

Focus here all God’s Perfection,

From all discord set me free.

Make and keep me anchored ever

In the Justice of thy plan—

I AM the Presence of Perfection,

Living the Life of God in man! (3x)

Keys for Your Soul’s Journey

25 Jun

The way to achieve harmony with all parts of the psyche is through mercy and forgiveness–mercy whereby you forgive yourself, mercy whereby you forgive others.  All of us are human, and we’ve all done things we’re not proud of.  So forgive yourself for being human and for making mistakes.   Forgive yourself for the error and karma of your previous lifetimes, whether you remember them or not.

We all have had to go through our experiences in the best way we knew how at the time.  Sometimes it wasn’t the most perfect way, but that is the process of learning–experiencing, going through trial and error, then finally coming out on top.  Never condemn yourself for your shortcomings and mistakes.  Just resolve to do better the next time.  If you condemn yourself even a little, it’s like poking a hole in a water bottle.  The water slowly but surely leaks out.  No matter how much water you put in the bottle, it will not stay full.  That’s what happens to your aura, your energy, when you allow anything or anyone, including yourself, to condemn you so that you feel you are not worthy of God’s love.

Your soul is worthy–she is worthy of God’s love and forgiveness.  So ask God for forgiveness for all the wrongs you have ever committed.  When you receive forgiveness, something is lifted, some percentage of the weight of karma, the burden of the act itself.  Therefore forgiveness is an important part of balancing karma.  You have to forgive yourself to receive God’s forgiveness. If you truly forgive yourself, you can establish a magnet of forgiveness in your heart, which draws down God’s forgiveness.

Accepting God’s forgiveness is the foundation for resolution.  If we are not resolved with God, then we are not resolved with the God within us or in our fellowmen.  So make peace with God and with every part of life you have ever wronged and every part of life that has wronged you.  Forgive yourself and move on with the day-by-day process of putting on your Christhood.

I Am forgiveness acting here,

Casting out all doubt and fear,

Setting men forever free

With wings of cosmic victory.

I AM calling in full power,

For Forgiveness every hour;

To all life in every place

I flood forth forgiving grace

Life’s Grand Design

24 Jun

Each soul is part of a larger scheme.  The Creator chooses the precise moment in history for each soul to come to earth to take part in the divine outplaying of the decades and the centuries.  This timetable of the conception and birth of every child is part of God’s grand design of life–a design so exact that at the moment of conception the genes in each tiny embryo are already suited to the specific soul who will inhabit it.  Consider how wondrously you were made, how God cared for you personally, how your own Father-Mother God ordained your conception, your parents, your life, your purpose and your reason for being.

But God was not only thinking of you before you were born.  He was already thinking of whose great-great-grandmother and great-great-grandfather you might be.  The plan of the mind of God, that great cosmic computer, is so vast that none of us can even begin to comprehend it.  So if you have ever felt like an unwanted child, you can let your soul be healed of that burden.  For your Father-Mother loved you in the beginning, has loved you through your life’s trials, and will continue to love you all the way Home.

As each of us makes this journey, we have a mission to fulfill and a unique identity to manifest.  God did not create us out of a cosmic cookie cutter and stamp us out to be exactly like him. Rather, each one of us has been endowed with a distinct blueprint, which is shared only with our other half, our twin flame.  This blueprint is a seed idea from God that urges us to pursue our journey, that pushes us onward and upward, that pushes us to strive.

When we are not striving and not working toward lesser and greater goals that lead us to our final destination, our soul is unhappy.  That unhappiness may show up as a sickness, boredom or self-deception.  It can take the form of moodiness or little irritations and problems with family members or others- things that we don’t associate with our soul’s dissatisfaction.  Yet our soul is impressing upon our outer awareness, “you are stifling me. You are not fulfilling the purpose for which I was born.  And I will not leave you in comfort.  I will make you without comfort until you return to follow the inner plan of life.”

Our divine plan is waiting for our free-will confirmation.  If we believe in predestination, we may think we don’t have to do anything–it’s all going to happen anyway.  But in reality, because of the gift of free will, we can choose to implement our divine plan or not. Do you know your mission, your divine plan?  One clue is that your mission is often your passion.  So ask yourself what are you passionate about.  Another clue is that your mission usually involves perfecting the talents that God has placed within your soul.

Above and beyond all else, the purpose of life, the answer to “Why am I here?” is to find God– in yourself, in your talents, in your calling and in your service to life. It is to endow everything with God’s Spirit.  Endowing everything with God’s Spirit is making his Spirit permanent in you.  This is the journey of integration back to the kingdom of your father-Mother God.

Masters, Angels and Elementals

21 Jun

Besides the order of masters and men, there are two other kingdoms of spiritual beings: the angelic kingdom and the kingdom of elemental beings. When God created man and commanded him to be fruitful and multiply and to take dominion over the earth, he gave him helpers to assist in the important task of expanding His kingdom.  Angelic ministrants and elemental servants of the earth, air, fire and water formed the cosmic retinue that accompanied man as he descended to earth, “trailing clouds of glory,” and vowing, “Lo, I AM come to do thy will, O God!”

During three golden ages, man talked freely with his God and associated intimately with angels and elementals. Communion with all life was unrestrained, and cooperation between angels, elementals and men was unspoiled. To man was given the assignment of overseeing the creation and working with God to plan, to design, to invent and to direct activities on earth.  To the elementals, the builders of form, was given the important task of bringing into manifestation the intents of God and man.   And to the angels was given the responsibility of ministering to the needs of both men and elementals.

The Elohim are the highest beings in the elemental kingdom.  Under Elohim are the directors of the elements, who in turn are in charge of the gnomes, sylphs, undines and salamanders–the elemental beings who take care of the four elements of the nature kingdom.

The archangels are the foremost beings in the angelic kingdom, which goes all the way down to the tiniest angel.  This kingdom includes the cherubim, seraphim and other orders of angels under their leaders.  Every ascended master has his own legion of angels under their leadership. Every ascended master has his own legions of angels who serve with him to amplify the flame that he tends.

The kingdom of the ascended masters is the order of the Christed ones, the evolution that we call the sons and daughters of God.  Mankind become the Christ.  This order includes newly ascended beings as well as ancient masters who have manifested the Christ consciousness.

The three orders of heavenly hierarchy manifest the threefold flame.Threefold flame001The sons and daughters of God are intended to out-picture the intelligence of the Christ mind, focusing the genius of God for invention and creativity. They represent the yellow plume of hierarchy.

The pink plume of the threefold flame of hierarchy is the order of angelic hosts.  Their service is to amplify the feelings and virtues of God. They bring the qualities of hope, love, mercy, compassion, charity, constancy and all the virtues that we need to make it in life.  The angels help us to amplify these feelings, and they often do this through heavenly music known as the music of the spheres.

The elemental kingdom represents the blue plume of the threefold flame; the power of God bringing all things into physical manifestation.

The Flame of Mother

19 Jun

kuanyin mother mary mother of the world

God is the androgynous whole, and we can speak to God as Father and we can speak to God as Mother.  The Chinese have the magnificent symbol of the T’ai Chi representing the masculine and the feminine aspects of the Whole. All things come from the circle of energy of the plus and the minus, the Alpha and Omega.  This energy as God is present within us all, and as we meditate upon this energy, we can feel the wholeness of the presence of the Father-Mother God.

The Aquarian age is the age of the Holy Spirit and it is also destined to be the age of the rise of the feminine principal–of God as the Mother.  We see this reflected in women all over the world coming into their own after thousands of years not realizing their true identity in a world dominated by the masculine ray.  Our devotion to God as Mother will create the balance in the individual and in our civilization that is necessary for the alchemy of self-transformation.

Ancient civilizations have risen and fallen by the use or misuse of the light of the Mother flame. The culture of the Mother is the culture that existed on the golden-age civilization of Lemuria and Atlantis.  Now is th emoment when we must work to restore the true culture of America and all nations, which is the culture of the Mother of the World.  The Mother of the World is the object of the adoration and meditation of the Buddhas and the Christs.  She is seeking her children and desires to resue them from the burdens that beset them.  The principle of the Mother Flame is exemplified and personified by ascended lady masters of heaven, great beings such as Mother Mary, the divine mother of the West, and Kuan Yin, compassionate saviouress of the East.

In each one of us individually, the Mother light is anchored in the base-of-the-spine chakra, the fount of the Mother, and the Father energy is focused in the crown chakra.  As the two unite in the heart chakra, the Father and Mother principles within us give birth to Christ consciousness.  One means to gently raise the light of the Mother from the base to the crown is through the giving of the rosary.

Who are the Ascended Masters?

17 Jun

Many people who have been through a near-death experience speak of meeting wondrous beings of light while on the other side.  Although some such as Jesus, were easily identified, others did not reveal their name but simply flowed with love, compassion, teaching and guidance. Who are these masterful beings?  Many of the people you meet in the heaven-world are known as ascended masters.  The ascended masters are our elder brothers and sisters on the spiritual path.  They have graduated from earth’s schoolroom and returned to God. From the heaven-realm they guide and teach mankind.

Many of these masters are familiar to us, having walked among us through the ages–others may be unknown to our outer mind.  Since the dawn of time, these masterful beings have emerged from all races and nationalities, from all walks of life and all religions.  Some of them are ancient beings of light, and their names have long ago become secondary to the flames they bear.

Whatever their origins in the vastness of our Father’s universe they all have something in common. They have balanced their misuse of God’ energy (karma), accomplished their unique mission on earth and ascended back to the heart of God. One and all, they share a common light. These beloved ones form a part of the brotherhood of spiritual beings and angelic hosts known in heaven and on earth as the Great White Brotherhood (white refers to the white light that surrounds the ascended masters and angelic hosts).  They are the spoken of in Revelation 7 as the great multitude of saints “clothed with white robes” who stand before the throne of God.

Among these saints are such well-known adepts as Gautama Buddha, Maitreya, Jesus Christ, Saint Michael the Archangel, Zarathustra, Moses, Melchizedek, Mother Mary, Teresa of Avila, Saint Francis, Saint Germain, Padre Pio and El Morya, to name just a few.  Among their ranks are also unnumbered and unnamed loving hearts, servants of humanity who have returned Home and are a part of the living God forevermore.

The ascended masters are teachers of mankind. They take a loving personal interest in their students and often intercede in their lives in many ways, both seen and unseen.  They teach the path of overcoming victory where the soul can walk the earth with self-mastery, follow in the footsteps of Jesus or Buddha or other great lights, and return to the heaven-world at the conclusion of a lifetime of service.  This is the path of personal Christhood whereby each one can find the way of overcoming.

Create a Sacred Space and Make a Spiritual Connection Each Morning

13 Jun

We have access to vast spiritual reserves that can guide us daily in practical ways, but we have to make time to tap into the wellspring of wisdom.  Many people find that creating a sacred space helps them make this connection. You can do this easily by setting up your personal altar in your home.  You can adorn this altar with whatever inspires you and helps you make that connection with God and with your Higher Self.  Above or on your altar you can place the Chart of Your Divine Self to help you attune with the presence of God within.

Your Altar is the place you go to “alter,” or transform.  When I take time first thing in the morning to connect with God through heartfelt prayer, I find that my day is transformed.  It goes much more smoothly. I don’t get caught up in the needless distractions and emergencies that pull me away from my goals.

Prayer, in realty, is a conversation.  We don’t just reach out to God; God also reaches out to us with guidance, comfort, direction and help. Your morning conversation with God doesn’t have to take long.  You can sit or stand before your altar, close your eyes, take some deep breath and enter into the sacred space within your heart–the secret chamber where your divine spark abides.

This sanctuary of the heart is the secret garden where you go to retreat and to commune with God and with your own inner teacher, your Higher Self.   Here you can tell God how much you love him.  You can send God your intense gratitude for the blessing you have received.  Then invite the angels and masters into your life to help you achieve your spiritual and material goals for the day.

The two key principals to keep in mind are that spoken prayer is more effective than silent prayer and we can enhance our prayer force when we are specific in naming our goals and visualizing what we what to take place.

O God, connect with me now as I go forth this day to fulfill my highest calling.  Protect my soul.  Protect my time.  Protect my harmony.  See that I take up the cause of my service to life unperturbed.   I call for divine intercession from you and your angels, and I accept it done this hour in full power.

Let all my prayers be adjusted to God’s will.

Practical Spirituality

11 Jun

At one time or another we have all had a peak spiritual experience, whether we’ve called it that or not.  How do we sustain that inner peace?  How do we endow our relationships, our family life and our work with a spiritual spark?  How do we tap our inner resources to handle stress and overcome blocks to our creativity?  How do we make spirituality practical?

What does it mean to live a spiritual life, and what is spirituality?  The word spirit comes from the Latin spiritus, meaning “breath,” “breath of a god,” or “inspiration.”  Spirituality is to the soul what breath of life is to a newborn child.  Spirituality infuses you with life.  It gives you peace and purpose.  It empowers you to love and nourish yourself and others.  Spirituality is being able to sustain a working relationship with Spirit. It doesn’t matter whether you call that spiritual fount the Christ or the Buddha, the Tao or Brahman.  We can all get in touch—stay in touch—with the universal power of Spirit by working with that relationship.

You are a Spiritual being–a child of God clothed with human form and personality.

chart of your divine self001

Hindu tradition mysteriously describes this indwelling spirit as “the inmost self, no bigger than a thumb” who “lives in the heart. ‘ Buddhists call it the Buddha nature.  Jewish mystics refer to it as neshamah.

The goal for each of us is to be, right here on earth, the reflection or our Higher Self–to manifest the full potential inherent in our spiritual self.  How?  By understanding, accessing and developing the spiritual part of ourselves.  By liberating our own inner greatness so that we can fulfill our soul’s highest calling and help others do the same.

We all have moments when we feel connected with our Higher Self–when we are creative and sensitive, compassionate and caring loving and joyful.  But there are other moments when we feel out of sync with our Higher Self–moments when we become angry, depressed, lost.  What the spiritual path is all about is learning to sustain the connection to the highest part of ourselves so that we can make our greatest contribution to humanity. Use this mantra for protection and see a waterfall of dazzling white light surrounding your Higher Self.

The ascended master El Morya, know to students of Theosophy as the master M., says our mission involves perfecting the talents that God has placed within our soul. “The purpose of life,” he says, is to find God–in yourself, in your talents, in your calling and in your sacred labor. It is to endow anything you do with Spirit.”   When we do not pursue our soul’s passion the consequences can be spiritually, emotionally and even physically devastating. Not only can it make us grouchy, but it can make us emotionally and physically ill.  “The lost soul,” writes medical intuitive Caroline Myss, “is very susceptible to illness.”  The feeling that life has lost its soul, or that our soul has lost its life, can also lead to addictions as a way to escape from reality.

If you have never thought about your passion in life, answering these questions may not be easy. Just let your heart speak to you and allow the answers to come in their own time.  Ask your Higher Self to send you divine direction, and then be open to all possibilities.

1.  Am I happy with the direction of my life and with how I spend most of my time?

2.  What is my passion in life?

3.  What is the greatest talent God has given me to share with others

4.  How can I refine and perfect it?

5.  How can I use my talent to make the most outstanding contribution to my family, my community, those who need me in my circle of influence?

6.  How can I capitalize on this talent to make a living and thus devote a major percentage of my time to it?
